The display is optional, you can do the same with your phone, the display is just way easier to setup.

I have one, took 5 months for delivery and it produces nothing drinkable, vodka tastes horrible. In fact it doesn't work at all any more!

Hi, this is one of my early models... it is the size of the Plus but has the performance of the Mini... at the time it was only "myVodkaMaker" no Plus or Mini, I had a great performance breakthrough that gave me a 2.5x performance increase... which was great but my mission was to make a 1 to 2 bottle a day still for as low cost as I could...and I think the mini does that well....but the plus is way more capable now also... I think it is a nice balance of features and choice.

I am a little safety-obsessed so safety was my main focus. If you look on the sidebar of the Reddit r/firewater you will find a lot of resources and recipes. I like my recipe but you don't have to make such a lot... you can start with 10 or 20 liters...also check birdwatchers.info/ it is a very good place to start with simple ingredients.
