Mention of “wheat flour” in the video is with reference to regular bread flour. Semolina is made from durum wheat (is also used to make bread) but has different properties 😊.

Hey Juli, it’s pretty much butter that has been melted and left to simmer on low heat and what you are left with is butter with a brown colour and intense ‘caramel’ scent. It’s great for many recipes! I use it to bake bread, desserts as well as veggie dishes like my creamy spinach recipe.

Came back to say today is the 3rd time I'm making these, first try I ended up with a loaf😅 yesterday got some donuts but only half the batch I was happy with, and now today I'm tackling these with more confidence, the dough is rising right now and I'm just very excited I had to share and thank you again for sharing!
