And yet, that mouse has made his mark on life - on our lives - not just a ripped thread in the fabric of the universe

I'm amazed that someone as meticulous as Stewart Lee would misquote Macbeth. The actual quote is: 'Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, Creeps in this petty pace FROM DAY TO DAY To the last syllable of recorded time;' etc...

'Nothing punctuated by catastrophes' a very nice example of a Stewart Lee genius throwaway line. There are many of course, but I love this one!

Incredible work. The segue into the Shakespeare is beautifully constructed and handled, perfectly fitting. Like few others, Stewart Lee makes the point that this is performance, this is creativity, this is a work of art. And the bit about Dave Hill from Slade is decent too! :-D

Stewart Lee's knees are on their last legs & have inevitably let themselves go. Most likely due to the unbearable density of Stewart Lees being.

For some reason Stewart Lee reminds me of this random guy I saw many years ago, this short fat parking lot attendant guy who was just sat on a stool and he was wearing glasses that were too small for him and were visibly leaving an indent on his fat head. And he's the him of this.

So many years on: 1) We now think nothing, at all, of those corporate statements. It wouldn't even register that there was something so inhuman and cringe about the Caaaahphone Warehouse having 'true values' beyond selling more phones. 2) I believe this was also the routine where he read out Russell Brand's completely true statement on the bad racism, verbatim. It's weird because Brand later turned into a very astute observer of society, moreso than Lee himself.
