just a question are u venting to atmosphere and blocked off the blow off return hose on the intake and also is there anything on the blow off valve 1.6t smart stream that needs to be adjusted or is adjustable

IDK what stated performance boost is, but I would doubt more than 10hp if that. Not worth it unless you replace the stock turbo, fuel pump, and injectors OR add meth/H20 injection. IMO.

For real the difference is so minimal I would never pay for this upgrade, Get the turbo inlet pipe instead and a short ram you'll have a way better sound for a less expensive upgrade. If you really want a pipe that makes the different you must go to a custom shop and you wont pay that much more, That what I did.

I just got this and The build quality is pretty bad. I would prefer the kit to use nuts and bolts instead of threading wood screws into plastic that can easily get stripped out.

the bypass hose? if so, you dont. They sell a BPV plug for the intake that's like 10 bucks

Only if the issue is exhaust related . I’ve seen quite a few people who have had their baffles in the stock exhaust fail on them , so keep that in mind.

This hasn’t worked on my 2019 Elantra sport I have a tune file that reads correctly but when trying to install it says “there is no response from the vehicle check the IG-key or cable status”

I spoke to the reps at sxth element. They emailed me that since the EN doesn't have a MAF, it doesn't require a tune. Proper installation shouldn't give you codes, from what I read.

UM how not size a turbo to a motor to small. ITs one thing to have a big turbo. But bolting it on a stock top end is crazey. You end up with good top but nothing bottom!! Keeep your money going

They can tune it now. You will need an extra cable to do it though.

2 hours later and the install is done. I wouldn’t say it’s a super difficult mod to install, but it’s definitely going to take a bit of technician know how. the ability to work with 1/4 ratchet and wobble extensions/u joints in a variety of lengths just like the video explained. Tight space to work in, very tight space and once you get your hands in there it gets even tighter 😭 stubby ratchet is a must everything stubby is a must in this install. Good luck 👍🏽 😅

Is the vacuum sensor mounted to the air box supposed to be capped? Other aftermarket intakes remove it completely but I'm assuming that would cause a check engine light

That plastic 90-degree bend fitting sure seems like it has a small opening. Seems very restrictive.
