I am thinking about purchasing this in the 3.0 version. Do you think it's worth it still? Someone is offering me one, new in the box, for $119 but I've never used an electronic cutter. I have a ton of Tim Holtz eClips Alterations Stamp2cut cartridges that were gifted to me but I have no way to use them. I'm also not sure if these cartridges will work with the 3.0 eClips machine since they are older. Do you know if they will work?

I am very dissatisfied with the Brother Scan N Cut machine and its accessories. Had I made the effort to research consumer reviews before I purchased my machine, I would NOT have purchased the machine in the first place. As, every review I read did not have positive comments to share. I can't say that I was surprised. For starters, I was not aware that it will not cut out rubber stamps that do not have a solid line around the circumference of the stamp. That is the only reason why I purchased the product. Secondly, I was coerced into purchasing the Enhanced Image Tracing Card by one of Brother's 'Help Center' Associates which ended-up NOT working for me since the machine will not cut my rubber stamps out in the manner in which I need for it to. I called the company was told that "since I did not purchase the card from them, they cannot refund or credit me." How ironic is it that they would penalize me for not purchasing the card from them when they do not sell the card in the first place. I no longer wonder 'why' Brother does not have more retail stores selling their products. Their customer service and product policies fall within the SHAM-RUN boundaries. PLEASE reconsider any purchases of this companies products, especially if you are planning to use the machine to scan and cut your rubber stamps. I learned the hard way!

If you do any type of stamping, this machine is a must. By the time you purchase between 5 and 10 matching die sets, you could own this machine. It is such a game changer. Thanks for the review. Awesome machine and a HUGE money-saver!

Would I be able to laminate a pic and then add the adhesive to the bake to make it a sticker in the same machine?

I was biting lips trying to figure out what to order, and since it would be my first glass cutting mat ever I went with the We R Memory Keepers Precision Glass Mat though I wanted to go with the Tim Holtz mat first. Shipping charges are high and it influenced my final desicion (I leave in the UAE and order most of my stuff on Amazon).

I've the very same BrotherScanNCut2! Just beginning learn its power. But even w/the 1st page placed left a terrible layer of residue behind, which was disheartening honestly. I'm amazed you've not this issue, fortunate! Though Neenah 297gsm is what I'm workin with so that may be the difference? IDK. SO MUCH to learn! Also, how do ya stamp reverse images? Thanks! ~X🎨💨X~

Hi Gabriela. If there is not a strong black outline my machine recognized things in the middle of the image. Do you know how to force it to cut only the outline? I have tried scanning in black and white.

My wife gets her stickers custom made online, but Iam interested in getting her one of these as a gift. You mentioned that you use a Cricut to print your sticker... is it possible to do without a Cricut, if she cuts the stickers by hand? If so what paper would you recommend for use with a regular printer? Sorry for the weird question, I dont know much about this stuff and want it to be a surprise.

How do you calibrate it? My offset is not working. It cuts on the line of half and has an offset on the opposite side.

What setting do you have your blade set at? I either have it too deep or not deep enough. Thank you

I love my cut scan got it Christmas , I done my cutting for my cards I do have dies and stamps . grate add love to get all the usb for them . and there was pens to but out of stock , the other blade that is talked about the long one does not go in cut in scan .

Can I talk to you privately through email. I bought this machine awhile ago and I have been going back and forth with Brother about cutting my stamped images they are not cutting the images evenly and they were lawn fawn stamps to. They are telling me I have to go on to Scancanvas to cut them out they are telling me it's raised so it's seeing a shadow but I'm watching you and other people and they are not having any trouble so I was wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

If your machine doesn't recognize your smaller images, print them larger so the machine can pick up all the pixels and then adjust the size once it's scanned!

I tried to do exactly what your doing. I followed all the steps. When I scenes my stamped images in it only recognized parts of each image.

I bought this machine a few weeks ago and love it also.. Cuts so quick, clean cuts and the machine is so easy to use , So yes a great buy . Pat
