I have the We r Memory Keepers Precision Press. It doesn''t use magnets. You can make it work, but I have to tape my project down to get it to stay in place which for me defeats the purpose. I contacted the company and their response is that they use washi tape to tape it down. I will be trying this one. The Misti is much more expensive! Thanks for your review!

I forgot about that part of the We R tool! I remember when I saw it on HSN now, I only noticed how you could stamp bigger sheets because the two sides were open. Thanks for sharing! This tool is really great and it comes at a much more affordable price than the MISTI.

Hi and welcome! Thank you for watching. Here's a tip, about 2 days after I posted this, I broke one of my magnets and I was about to order one from an online craft store, but I decided to look around and Home Depot sells the EXACT same magnets in 3 packs for $3.48, so if you happen to break or lose one, you can get replacements easily.

I was wondering how a magnet breaks ... cheap materials ?
@GabwithGaby8 жыл бұрын
Hi Helen, the nature of Neodymium magnets is that they are extremely strong, but also very brittle, so they could shatter by colliding. In this case mine snapped together because I let them get too close and one of them shattered, it's just a mechanical property of the magnet.

Hi, Does the door squeak? I love the stamp set, does StampinUP still have it? TY
@GabwithGaby8 жыл бұрын
Hi, I had to go check, and yes, it does have a slight squeak, I'm sure you could use some WD-40 to make that go away because I never noticed it until you asked. :) Yes, that stamp set is still available from Stampin Up, it's called Watercolor Wings.

YES !!! Mine arrived yesterday from the States and in the second stamping using an Impression Expression background stamp the middle hinge snapped `!! And Yes it squeaks... It feels like its made of weak cheap materials. If it breaks I am going to spend the cash and buy a misty.... But I do love it !!! just wish it was made of better materials !! and a bit bigger would of be awesome :)

Today my two magnets caught hold of each other, and one of them broke! Should I contact the company?
@GabwithGaby7 жыл бұрын
Oh no! Bummer. I think you could try that, or you could go to Home Depot or Lowe's and buy 6 for about $3-$4, I promise they are the exact same magnets :)

Candace Kieper hi! I watched his demo for that prior to CHA and I did think it was a nice tool and the rubber/clear feature was nice too. Tim's tool is $39.99 and only available for pre-order. This tool is now available in Michael's stores for $24.99. ☺

Gabriela Sims , not only could you get it at Michaels for $24.99, but if you have a 50 % or 60% coupon you get this tool for $12.49 or less.

Very true! I got mine online and then about 2 weeks later, they were in Michael's :)
