I remember listening to this when it first came out wishing Ihad been there. Who knew this video would allow us to watch so many years later. I got to see them at least 4 times. First was on the eat a peach tour.

duane allman & dickey betts guitar harmonies & playing off each other is enough to bring peace to a burdened soul.i may be an old man, but still love the allman bros.

Greatest rock & roll band ever! I fell in love with them when I was 14 and I love them still at 73. The Mick Taylor years were the very best. 😘

Gotta be the best of the Stones; raw, bluesy, just a tighter version of Brian’s dream. Nice one, YT, for finding this Marquee performance, JaneR

Can't listen to this song without wondering who she was and what happened to her. Sounds like a lot of peaks and valleys and the valleys won. Great instrumental.

Jagger feeling himself at peak with good reason I’ll say . Almost forgot how bad of a bitch he was . Raucous real sexual energy was in his face. Everybody has their time… This was his.

Duane, one of the greatest "what ifs" for me. So good at so young, how would've he grown and matured and explored the instrument? Few guitarists can improvise in a continuously meaningful and melodic way, but Duane was one of them.

I honestly believe they were pound per pound the best live band on the planet at this time. I throw into that all genres of music-jazz, country, bluegrass, pop classical etc. Coltrane, Ellington, the Who, Miles, Stones, Hendrix, Santana, The Band, Flatt and Scruggs were all great but for me, this lineup was transcendent. They could send you to a higher plane of existence.
