Who would of ever dreamed , that 50 years later . Our music would've taken such a devastating and horrific turn !!! Into what it has become today .🤔 . We went from saying " I wanna take you higher " . Which could've meant . Spiritually , politically , or racial consciousness . To talking openly about drugs and getting high 😠❗️From wear tight fitting dresses and short mini skirts . To twerk'N in booty shorts , lingerie , and thongs and pasties . From HAPPY , cheerful and positively engaging the crowd . To being vulgar , degrading and disrespectful . When I go back in time and look at this . And then compare it to today ... It makes me wonder , how did we go SO FAR astray 🤔🕵🔬🧐🔭 ❓️
