Travel food story, eh? We stayed at a hotel that had a breakfast buffet, and that morning my older brother acquired the last two pieces of French toast. What luck! Or so he thought. It tasted a bit off. He had consumed one whole slice before my dad pointed out that it was actually the bread that they put in the bottom of the sausage bowl to soak up excess grease. No harm was done, but the lack of French toast was keenly felt I am sure
