Take 322 West out of Franklin. Then take right turn on to 427 North at Wyattville towards Cooperstown. The road winds along Sugar Creek. One place to park is at the Cooperstown golf course. Where ever you see cars is a good place to fish. This video starts at the 2nd bridge that overpasses the creek on 427. First bridge is good too. I have a couple other videos of the area. If you view my videos "Fishing French Creek in Franklin, PA" and "Valley Iron Furnace", you will see places along Sugar Creek to fish. The Valley Iron Furnace video shows you exactly where to go on Rt 322 and 427. About a mile past the Valley Iron Furnace is the 1st bridge and golf course on 427.

You just saved me THOUSANDS of dollars over the span of the rest of my life, THANK YOU DEARLY! I have 3 kids who all hunt and I hunt myself.. 675$ around here for a mount is to harsh on my pockets as a father or 3.
@billygoat17084 ай бұрын
It is the only way I do mounts anymore. Everyone has turned out great. Did another since I made this video. A good donor mount is the key. Glad I could help you and your family out. Keep hunting. These memories last a lifetime.

I heard there were walleye
@billygoat17085 ай бұрын
There may be walleye closer to where Chartiers Creeks goes into the Ohio River. I have never heard of any up this far. There are a few flood control dams that would probably keep walleye from coming up stream. They would come from the river.

Ha! Your 1975 snap-on bottom tool box is identical to mine, same time frame and payed for it 2 bucks a week from the truck guy (don’t quote my $). We love our shops! Thanks.
@billygoat17086 ай бұрын
I was working as a auto mechanic and bought it off the Snap-On truck guy that came every week. It was on sale brand new for $220. I paid him $20/week. You can kind of tell the era they were from by the Snap-On logo. The top is from the 60's, the bottom from the 70's and the middle from the 80's.

Check out “ Our Museum of Industrial Heritage “ located in Greenfield, Mass and well worth a visit. I’ve been there a few times and just a incredible display of tools and working ones also. This museum displays a lot of the earliest machinist tools that were invented and produced in that part of Massachusetts. Nice and informative video. Thanks

After spending days looking online at gun safes, this is inspiring. They're expensive and not very secure. This had crossed my mind, and now I think I'll be looking for one of these oldies but goodies. Words of wisdom brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for sharing.
@billygoat170811 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment. The limiting factor in securing one of the oldies but goodies may be moving it after the purchase. I have a car trailer and overhead beams in my garage to unload from. A friend bought one and had it delivered on the back of a tow truck. A "real" safe is far superior to those cheaply manufactured gun safes.

lol, theres chips on the floor. i see so many vids where there isnt a chip to be seen. to me that means nothing gets made.
@billygoat170811 ай бұрын
You are absolutely correct. I see videos of other shops and it looks like they polish their machines with no chips to be found. My shop is used.
