Great Scott! what a great video! Giving Christian metal the spotlight over secular metal is always needed. The secular market gets TOO much exposure over God’s metal, so good job, Scott. What are your top 10-30 metal albums of all time from the 80s/90s with discernible vocals (excluding Cookie Monster vocals and scream-o), that the listener can actually hear the message? Awesome list Scott, and I know every one of them. Since the idea is to turn people on to new bands they may not know of here is a few more to consider for part 2 or for those reading the comments looking for recommendations... Liege Lord - Master Control, Sentinel Beast - Depths Of Death, Attacker - Battle At Helms Deep, Abattoir - Vicious Attack, Anthem - Tightrope, Apocalypse - Self-titled, Apocrypha - The Eyes Of Time, E-X-E - Stricken By Might, Zoetrope - Amnesty, Wrathchild America - Climbin' The Walls, Heretic - Breaking Point, Helstar - A Distant Thunder, Laaz Rockit - Annihilation Principle, Blessed Death - Kill Or Be Killed, CJSS - Praise The Loud. Some may refer CJSS and Apocrypha as shred metal but sounds like good old thrash to me. I grew up listening to this music and was there to see these bands releasing these albums. Good stuff!

Yeah, so many fantastic thrash/speed bands and ppl just keep talking about the same 10 or so bands over and over, just like you said. Either from the 80s, like Atrophy, Heathen, Re-Animator, or more recent like Vektor, Demoniac, Ripper. It's practically impossible and pointless to keep naming bands, there are dozens that play superb thrash/speed metal, and sadly very few ppl know them... Which is why you need to do more videos like this one - I learned a couple of new (to me) bands here myself

Great list of not so much known Thrash bands! The vocalist of School Of Violence, Karl Agell was the vocalist on C.O.C.s "Blind" album, love his voice. Tension´s mainman Tom Gattis was in Deuce with Marty Friedman before and after Tension broke up he released three fantastic albums with Wardog and one under the name Ballistic. Poltergeist still sound the same, their new stuff is really good! Their (still) singer was on Destruction´s "Cracked Brain" album in 1990. I recorded two albums at Andy Classen´s studio, ex husband and ex guitar player for Holy Moses. We played with Moses a lot in the 90s and 2000s.
