Great video as usual. Status quo - Down Down. It says SGAE on the record. That means Spain. Like Gema is Germany, Stemra is Holland, NCB is Scandinavia, Biem is UK, Sacem is France. And so on. A fast way to se the pressing. Greetings from Sweden

I have that Iron Fist single, bought it when it came out here in the UK and Hot Rockin, but not the picture sleeve. Nice Quo singles, have most of their classic singles. Railroad was only released as a single in Germany I believe. Never seen a copy til you just showed it.

THHHHHHHHHHE MAILLLLL!!!!!!!!! [No one around, I was able to YELL it.]. Have never heard Gillan's band do Smoke on the Water. Will have to check for it on You Tube. Great photo on the Saxon. Wish Hot Rockin' had been played on radio at the time. The front photo of the Triumph would make a great shirt/poster. So glad I saw Quo a few years ago, outdoors on a nice day. They were excellent.

I love both, but there is a reason Maiden is still selling out stadiums all over the world till this day. Name a time Priest was doing that on their own headlining tour. Last time priest came through, it was in a 8,000 capacity venue.

In the UK we used the term Heavy Rock in the late 70s early 80s, it was magazines like Sounds and Kerrang that popularised the term Heavy Metal in the UK. We never had any is it hard rock is it metal arguments.

Dude, I thought you was a Christian musician? Your channel covers more secular music by far than Christian music. Christian music needs more coverage. Secular music gets enough coverage from everywhere that we don’t need the Christians contributing to it also. Stick to Christian music only because there’s so much out there that needs exposure. I’m sure the Christian bands will appreciate it. You have a platform to use to shine a light on The fruits of their labor, be the church. God bless and Metal on…in Jesus’ name!

Hi Scott, Happy New Year. ''Finished with the dogs'' is among my GT topten, and I would even add Holy Moses to the Big GT group. with the inclusion of Deathrow (but that's an old discussion). Again, thanks for reminding about that 2nd Hades album and also School of Violence's, another two albums I played on the airwaves around Aveiro (Nth PT) in the 2nd half of the 80s. Hades's record before Alan Tecchio left temporarily for Watchtower, is a masterpiece of the East Coast Thrash Sound, and a similar praise goes for SoV, who always made think of my favourite ECTS/HC luminaries, as in Carnivore and Whiplash. We all know that if 86 and 87 have been absolute record collecting rollercoasters, it's not the case that that 88 was a lesser one. So, this is not nostalgia - it's giving the art object its due recognition and just not let it mould in the cellar, or forget it under the spell of non-stop band-consuming, festival-going and gig-attending life. Most of those albums, when you listen to them now, have grown in distinct quality, and they are, by all means, historical Metal artifacts.

The Last Will and Testament Borknagar - Fall The Crown - Crown of Thorns Dark Tranquility - Endtime Signals and of course Judas Priest.... Invincible Shield may be my Album of the Year (with Borknagar following very close behind).
