It depends on what size tote bag. I feel like a large tote bag might carry more because it’s less constricted. So you can jam pack it with things. While this bag is big, but more structured.

I think it’s the same as any major city. There’s def a lot of opportunities to meet people, but it’s up in the air whether it would be a friendship match for you or if they live in the city long term or are here for work / vacation

There are pros and cons to having a roommate. I would probably be like "What? You are living here in my place. I have to pay rent, buy food, cook and clean, and you think I live here for free?" Another scary thing is worrying about the personal information you think you are hiding. I think it is worst when you do it with friends and family. "Oh, I don't have all the money this month. I went out and bought me an outfit, can I pay you next month?"
