Its entirely possible that the priority one order only came about after ash had confirmed the presence of an alien after cain came back in with one attached to his face. I think a really cool theory is that he is partially made from Ghidorah's body which would explain the gold scales and fins similar to his wings. Like maybe it was gene splicing or a lot of skin was taken a later healed.

I think IF they DIDN'T create Gigan, that they still have probably controlled Gigan for a very long time and are probably the ones that put Gigan on earth in the first place. I also think its possible that they could have been the ones that turned Gigan into a cyborg. In Final Wars they seem to be either a biomechanical or cybernetic species themselves, and if they're the ones that made Gigan into a cybernetic monster, they could have incorporated elements of their own physiology into Gigan, and in that process put M-Base into Gigan's organic material. An interesting what-if to think about: If the Xiliens won in Final Wars, would they have eventually given cybernetics to all of the earth kaiju they had been controlling? 🤔🤔🤔

I think you're reading too much into it. What you're seeing as wings just look to me like the facehugger's legs from a lengthways perspective as the camera is between the top and the base. I'm far more intrigued by the fact that the first teaser shows a split second close up of what appears to be a goat or some other livestock towards the end.

I hope it's really a flying facehugger, the cinematic universe needs fresh air instead of doing constant fan service by references to previous movies, especially after recent games and books have introduced so many new themes and forms of xeno. But are you sure it's not the inter-leg webbing of a royal facehugger? And by the way, where did you get the graphic of winged facehuggers from?

I can't find any reason why setting this on Earth can be a good thing. Space means Alien. Earth isn't Alien.

If you look closely you can tell it's a bug being attacked by a facehugger. That's why it's flying wildly spinning while trying to escape. That's why you keep seeing the facehugger legs and body crawling on the screen as it's flying through the corridors.

Prometheus I personally think is a great movie, not perfect though. I think the "engineers" are way more interesting (and scary, same with a.i. run wild ) than another xenomorph slasher film. Xeno runs amuck killing everyone finally gets blown out of airlock, or by decompression into space by alpha female lead character film. Been done enough, move on. On second thought maybe thats why the real aliens havent attacked earth yet, they are terrified of our angry females thwarting their plans and bringing certain doom down upon them from watching the alien series. ( I'm married can't blame them for that) I know there are some good writers out there somewhere that can deviate from that recipe and make a killer film...I think I could do better (for less money) than some of the alien series films, I'm not saying they dont have their moments. Alien 3 ? You gotta be joking, I could have outdid that in middle school, covenant? It could have been so much more. I've read alot of science fiction so maybe I think differently than most people. People want answers to mysteries, answering them with bigger mysteries is your solution Ridley...That is what makes something thought provoking, and that is why I like prometheus. Give us a answer, and then slap us in the face with a bigger mystery. No more friday the 13th / Halloween in space kiddie movies, have your writers write something for people with some intelligence. I guess when you do that though it don't sell at the box office.

I’ve been saying that this fake Godzilla movie was nothing but a rip off of beast for 20,000 leagues since the day I saw it in the theaters.. it’s almost beat for beat. They kill the fake Godzilla on a bridge instead of a roller coaster, but still basically the same movie.
