There are only 3 xeno's from what I've heard. 2 on the station and one birthed on the Corbelan IV when a crew member gets infected. The movie is almost entirely focused on the Face Huggers and one very different version in particular.

Looks mostly great except for that Xeno shot at 1:51 which seems a little robotic in its facial movements.

My theory is that "Big Chap" eventually landed on another ship some time later after Ripley shot him off into space with the thrusters at the end of the first movie (it's a longshot.... I know). According to Alien Isolation, Xenos can survive in space. Anyways, the humans retrieve "Big Chap", and may have been able to capture it because it was injured. Maybe they started experimenting on it. It's interesting that we've seen tons of facehuggers in these trailers, and no eggs. Probably just a coincidence though. Also worth mentioning that in a few shots, it's clear that a hive is being created, or has already been created. After the events of this movie when the ship is inevitably destroyed with all the xenos, Weyland-Yutani will have to go to LV-426, the only other place where they can retrieve eggs or specimens from the derelict spaceship. That's when they start building Hadley's Hope.

It was revealed months ago Big Chap was found by W/Y adrift in space inside a cocoon while they were searching for evidence of the Nostromo in the ships last known location.
