What about the situation where you count rows of knitting and your end of row keeps shifting? I suppose it’s negligible. Sure looks nice on the garment!

I appreciate this. The thing is, in American English, Aussie English, Canadian English, etc., vowels and other letters are pronounced differently. I'm sure you don't say California, Illinois, or Nebraska the same way we do in the US. But I appreciate your note and the info on a more Irish pronunciation.

So glad to catch your video! Your beautiful view makes me long to visit Ireland again! My Uncles made sauerkraut every year and I never learned how! We had a Heinz 57 family, German, Irish, Italian and a few other ‘varieties’~ family food get togethers were an interesting mix of food. Anyway ~ the Uncles would put the sauerkraut on sausage or hotdog sandwiches. The deli’s here make Ruben sandwiches with sauerkraut, pastrami & melted cheese on rye. Enjoyed catching up with you! Thank you for sharing!! And thank for the Merlin app advice!

My favourite place to walk in Rouge Urban National Park in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It's 1000s of acres in the city that has been left natural except for a few trails and the necessary car parks. This year I moved 1,000 miles to New Brunswick, on Canada's east coast, and I miss walking in "the Rouge". On a short visit back to visit family, my son took me hiking there and it was so wonderful to be back there, and to walk and chat with my son. I'm now exploring places to walk in New Brunswick and if you ask me again in a year, I'm sure I'll have a new favourite. I love your colourway and due to postage costs I don't usually buy yarn from Britain, but I may have to make an exception. Good job, you.

I know I’m late, but is there a way for this to work if knitting flat? I’m still trying to learn how to do the magic circle (struggling) but when making a stuffed animal I need to do it in the flat because of the pattern instructions. I must say I have never felt like I’ve understood something so well from a video before!

Lovely visit. I enjoyed the fibers chat and other news. Envious that you were outside. It is 104* at 4 o’clock here in California. I went to pick up yarn to prep for our guild’s dye day next week. We are choosing a hat from Knitting the National Parks and figuring how to make all the colors. It will be the first project since Christmas. I think I have a little mojo to make some small projects. A quick story about my 3 y.o. granddaughter. On a recent visit her mom explained that they would have to in a little while (we don’t rush). Yaya exclaims lay yarn!” She grabs my hand to go in the craft room to get a small ball of yarn from the leftover basket. She loves to roll it and let it un wind all over the house. Take care of you and yours till the next time.

I currently have a Vertices Unite, a Tundra sweater, a Habitation Throw on my needles. I have just finished a pair of socks too. My youngest kiddo is off to University this year. They have only just come back home after 6 months in New Zealand. I really want to go now but I am a wheelchair user and don't know how accessible it would be. Still going to go though. My eldest daughter is working one day a week but, hoping to find a job soon. My husband is working full-time and doing semi pro archery. I want to make all of the things but need more time! I can't believe that your little girl is already 2. I know people used to say this to me but it's true, enjoy that time as it goes in the blink of an eye! Leif use to LOVE my spinning wheel. I think I got it when he was 4 and he use to sit down at the wheel and pump the peddle as fast and he could and make motorcycle noises. It was hysterical and devastating at the same time (especially when I had painstakingly spun yarn on there)! Oh, I believe that stitch that you like is called the Star Stitch. I knit Kaia and myself the Wilde jacket years ago and that stitch was on the hem and hood. I love the way it looks!
