Lovely, thanks for the tour, I live in the area and it’s a lovely place to visit. A family friend used to weave for them in her house (1980s) on one of the old wooden looms. Great memories! Also, totally need another avoca blanket now 😂

Such a wonderful episode, Grace! I love beautiful crafty stories and although I knew of Avoca, I learnt so much with your tour! I would be hard pressed to make a choice but I feel a special Easter treat coming on, ahahah! Wishing you a charming spring time in Ireland!

Thanks so much for this lovely tour! As I was watching, I was pulling up my photos from our tour of Avoca in 2016-while sitting under my beautiful Circus throw! How I wish I'd been able to bring home a blanket!! Visiting Avoca Mill was definitely a highlight of our adventures in Ireland!

This just landed as I sat down with my morning coffee here in southern Ontario 🇨🇦. Absolutely fascinating Grace, thank you so much. I had an Irish Nana and love learning about anything that may have been connected to her. These Avoca products are stunning and the history is fascinating. Thank you so much for sharing. 😊

Thanks for the tour - so well done and comprehensive! Loved the delighted baby babbler shout outs. I may have missed it in the video - Allan showed so much about the finishing off parts, I was confused when he said he cut the fabric into scarves - was that lengthwise or widthwise? And how did he secure the edges then? I hope you show in your next video what you bought - I know I wouldn't have been able to leave without several beautiful things.
