What size snare stand to get??
@jordanncyr
@jordanncyr 24 күн бұрын
I just bought this and I’m seeing a lot of people use dedicated snare stands and now I’m left wondering how long it’ll take before I have to buy one. It would’ve been cool if they could figure out a vertical bracing post or something to prevent it from falling down. Probably the most beat on part and it has the least stability. Anyway that’s my Ted talk, thanks for the mini review✌🏼

Why does it look like the kick drum pedal is on backwards? Can you use it both ways with the hard part facing the kick drum?
@biswajitnath804
@biswajitnath804 6 ай бұрын
Yez... You can use both ways... But using the hard part on the bass drum is recommended since the soft side will wear it off quickly

Ahhh, great idea with the snare, that little bar gets loose all the time, I’ll be using a regular snare stand from now on, thanx man

Looked at it, played on it but still not convinced not to save up some more cash and go for Roland. Even their entry level TD-02 KV plays and sounds so much better. And that's not even that much more expensive. Even though it has no kick pad.

I got this one recently as my first set. The frame is very weak but overall it's a fun kit.

If you are going to take the time to build actual shells and metal cymbals why not just put heads on and make it an acoustic kit. This being built like an acoustic kit then making it electronic is gunna put the price for it so high it will be unaffordable to almost everyone. Just spend half the money and get the same finish in acoustic!

Absolutely hate electric drums. They will never be as good as acoustic kits.

Personally if I was playing an electronic kit that looks like an acoustic (and in the case of the new DW Ekit, can be converted into an acoustic kit), I’d use real cymbals.

Yes dude , buy 2 or 3 of those horizontal bars to which the toms and snare are attached to and place them on a lower point 😊 that's what I'm thinking of doing when i get my kit .... In my honest opinion , one can't have everything ... So if I don't have a dog to go hunting, I'll take a cat 😂 . The kit is good but for 400€ , not too shabby...! I don't know the name of those bars but maybe rack bars or something like that 😉

Are all electronic drums the trigvered sample type? That last one, was curious if there are any types that make unique, real and quieter vibrations that are picked up, treated, translated, filtered and output. Electric drums rather than midi codes trigging samples

I started on metal. Just got my first e-drum set with rubber cymbals for Xmas. I’m still trying to get used to them. They don’t have the rebound or quick response of metal. It’s a compromise. I’m getting by with them.

Yeah but the metal ones are wireless, and on a kit that is way better than any other e kit on the market. And yes, they have the most realistic response.

Breaking sticks on a thing electronic just means you have no stick control. You don't have to hit anything hard at all.
