I just got the nitro I wish I would have seen this before purchasing the mesh because I cannot stand the way it plays or feels. It’s a big difference on the drums and the feel of the play entirely
@hisham_hm11 ай бұрын
from the looks of it I don't think this feels much different from the Nitro Mesh other than the larger snare... maybe the builtin sounds are better but you're much better off plugging it to a computer to get the sounds from a plugin anyway

I just bought this and I’m seeing a lot of people use dedicated snare stands and now I’m left wondering how long it’ll take before I have to buy one. It would’ve been cool if they could figure out a vertical bracing post or something to prevent it from falling down. Probably the most beat on part and it has the least stability. Anyway that’s my Ted talk, thanks for the mini review✌🏼

I think the Titan 50 is much better, in my humble opinion. The rack for the Titan 50 feels much sturdier. And the sounds in the Titan 50's module are much better.

I completely agree, it’s worth the extra $50 if a person at that budget range is willing to pay extra

The rack and clamps for my titan 50 are really bad, super cheap and didn’t last over a year. I can agree the audio is top notch, sounds like an actual drum set and not like stock sounds on some other ekits

I’m a proud owner of the Max. Absolutely love jamming on it and can’t fault anything apart from the wobbly rack and hight. The Titan 50 is a great kit too! However, it’s much harder to secure in some country’s. Alesis kits seem to be everywhere.

I got this one recently as my first set. The frame is very weak but overall it's a fun kit.

Ahhh, great idea with the snare, that little bar gets loose all the time, I’ll be using a regular snare stand from now on, thanx man

My son wants to learn to play drums. I don’t want an acoustic set. So electronic drum set is best, obviously for noise. Would you recommend this set for a beginner? Price range would be around $500ish give or take a hundred. Plus any extra items I may need, throne, pedal, etc….

If you in the USA, a Simmons Titan 50. Other places, maybe an Alesis or Millenium kit

Looked at it, played on it but still not convinced not to save up some more cash and go for Roland. Even their entry level TD-02 KV plays and sounds so much better. And that's not even that much more expensive. Even though it has no kick pad.

I bought one for my son and the rack seems unstable. I've made sure everything is tightened but it still feels flimsy. Any recommendations?

Yes dude , buy 2 or 3 of those horizontal bars to which the toms and snare are attached to and place them on a lower point 😊 that's what I'm thinking of doing when i get my kit .... In my honest opinion , one can't have everything ... So if I don't have a dog to go hunting, I'll take a cat 😂 . The kit is good but for 400€ , not too shabby...! I don't know the name of those bars but maybe rack bars or something like that 😉

Why does it look like the kick drum pedal is on backwards? Can you use it both ways with the hard part facing the kick drum?
@biswajitnath8046 ай бұрын
Yez... You can use both ways... But using the hard part on the bass drum is recommended since the soft side will wear it off quickly
