I'd buy one if it had blue LEDs, and a 5v output. EDIT: And obviously a USB-C powered.

Awesome tutorial- I'm an adult dipping my toe into learning coding and I think that the visual block language for the Micro:bit is a great way to learn for my old brain!

Still a micro-usb? Hilarious. Somebody should wake developers and remind them there is usb-c available since the 2014 ....

Can you do a 2024 version? There’s been more devices published and also RAM upgrades. Would be helpful. There’s also been a few ones from kickstarter as well

What did you connect the servo to? Is that a board that attaches to the back of microbit? Thanks!

that thinkbox thing actually has the same exact case for a really popular fake Nintendo NES emulator console and you can actually connect it to the tv using a special adapter thing.

I think I have the same Nes emulator retro handheld and yes the rca tulip goes into the tv (yellow outputs video, and red outputs mono sound). It looks good on an old tv with scart. Digital tv's with scart show artifacts and degradation of colors. Just my 2 cents 🙂

I use GameGo in my classroom. It is a great beginner one. Easy to use and fairly durable. I have never used the Meowbit, but am considering getting some just for some of the more advanced applications.

Thank you very much from Thailand. This year we are going to teach bbc microbit at our school. Your videos are very helpful to me and also to my students too. But I am retired and just volunteer to the school. It's very new for me and now I come to know it's very helpful for teaching or learning on the daily life matters. Welcome to Chiang Rai. Thanks again. Have a wonderful day. God Bless.

I'm just wondering how to have a world map in classroom mode. When try it in game mode, I will get a starter pack and with a world map in it. But in classroom mode, there is no starter pack and no world map. I need a map because i will let my students to build their own house around the world. With the map, i will be able to locate them easily.

I've learned a great deal from your videos. Thank you. Do breakout boards exist that will handle servo motors, neo pixels, and LED's on the same board and allow programming of combinations of each?
