They certainly like meat! There's a lot of predators in the lake that were raised on goat carcasses.

It's a Porpeang Flyfish

We reckon it was a Chao Phraya catfish. Other possibilities are Giant Snakehead, Alligator Gar, Walking catfish or a Wallago.

Hi Shelby, redecorating isn't something that we've encountered with our Australian red claws, apart from them occasionally using aquatic plants to plug up the end of their pipes where they hide. Have you provided adequate hiding spots her?

@ I have sure tried! My blue cray (I think it might be a cherax) has three hides now. Two of which she built for herself in the sand, one is a "coconut hut" from aquarium co-op. Plus, a giant hide that I am not sure is helpful. (Wish I could show you a photo, was a diy build of my own.) She seems happy, but the two hides she built are sand, and shes constantly bulldozing sand out of them. I just want her to be happy and healthy. She was a rescue. Left in a tank with a much larger cray, has a missing leg due to it. Haven't witnessed a molt yet, but she's clearly larger than when I got her for my birthday last year. Ish around Christmas time. Is pvc the best option?

It's mainly just dry and dusty around here. Not great for asthma but at least there's hardly any burning off at the moment.
