Hey man I love the truck, I have a z71 myself. I love your idea and I’ve thought of this too but I wondered if you’ve had issue of them tipping over or the straps ripping after time? Did your truck come with that aluminum piece right under the bed where the spare would be at and did you completely remove the spare tire harness? Thanks man! I appreciate your video!

Hey thanks man!! And no I never had any issues. I used a mini strap to wrap it and keep it vertically I had it like this for 2 years no issues. Unfortunately I sold the truck because I now have 2 kids and had to get a family truck! But yea I removed the spare shield sheet and the bracket where the spare holds in place underneath the bed

Buy a y servo harness and put on the esc slot at the receiver and connect esc and servo on it. Then you will have to swap the rear servo arm to the right side

If you have a higher end transmitter with channel mixing its even easier. I use my flysky noble nb4 and mixed throttle and channel 3 (spoiler servo). Works perfectly and can set endpoints on the transmitter.

I only upgraded the differential and pinions from the 4s Kraton. And added the bearing on the drive shaft. Also I mounted using the current screws and mode a new hole on the lid to screw the outer corner
