My guess is that Stevie Ray Vaughn, had a bunch of Trower albums. And he said to himself....I wanna learn to play like that. The rest is history. Exept Robin is still playing!

After a show in New Haven Connecticut I saw Rory outside by their tour bus. I tried to go take to him but Gary McAvoy stepped in front of me and said "nobody is bothering Rory right now." I took him at his word. 😆

My funny Robin Trower story; we went to see Robin live. As a guitarist I looked forward to watching him play, (No KZbin then). I got so stoned during the first act that I spent Robin's entire show sitting on the floor and not seeing anything😊Those we're the days!

Black drummer was way better anyone know why they got rid of him ?
@gregm68943 ай бұрын
Who knows? He did another album with Robin and Jack Bruce in 1981. He died in 2009 from a heart attack. His drumming on the "Bridge of Sighs" album was as good as it gets -- as were Robin's guitar playing and Dewar's soulful vocals and amazing bass lines.
