When Robin Trower played with Procol Harum guitar style was totally different. Then Robin heard Jimi Hendrix that was it! Claims Trower on an interview. Trowers Idol. He's a guitar God Eric Clapton never had him on any of his big events where he invited everybody but never Robin Trower! Or Frank Marino.

IMO: The Bridge of Sighs is one of the best recordings of its era. At one time I had it on album, 8-track and cassette. I was that much into it (in the 70s). I still think it is worthy of Hall of Fame recognition. Probably is, I don't know. But Little Bit is the deal.

Man. I love reading the reactions of younger rockers, to music that came out when I was in high school. The late 60's to mid-70's were the best years of guitar rock. Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana......

Yoda whippin out some serious Jedi shit. If you have ever been to a concert you've seen it. Tiny little guy puts The Force into his playin and suddenly Majik flys. Grew up with Robin Trower when I heard my father listening to him all the time. The 2nd coming of Jimi Hendrix in my opinion. Does a lot of guitar riffs that was his trademark style. Uses a lot of 1st and 3rd string notes simultaneously with 2nd string muffled while he moves up and down the neck. Unique sound.
