I get what you mean about Pisces Moon not wanting to be a cordoned off 'individual' separated from the whole, but can this condition be coloured heavily by what their sun sign is? What if the native has heavy Leo placements (Sun, Venus, Mars) and does rely heavily on who they are and being self-actualised, different to others... how do you feel they could relate to that Pisces moon in a healthy way?

Yes, the rest of the chart modifies everything else in the chart. There is a lot of coloring that goes on. It is actually quite difficult to isolate any one item in a chart. That is what chart readings are for. They are to bring all the factors together in a grand synthesis. Glad you made this point because it is so important.

Would you consider somebody with Pluto in Scorpio automatically Plutonian by nature? Some researchers believe Scorpio does not warrant being so exclusively tied to Pluto... likely to do with traditional ideas of it being ruled solely by Mars. I have Pluto in my 3rd house in Scorpio and while it's not on my IC, my IC is the cusp between Scorpio and Sag... would this add any weight to my Plutonian nature from your perspective?

I wouldn’t call you Plutonic, no. Based on what you’ve shared, I would only do that if Pluto were rising.

Would it be more fair to say that my roots/where I come from is quite plutonic? I do feel a sense that Pluto in the 3rd house is about where I derive power but also a signifier of past powerlessness.. near my IC is where I’ve gone to die and be reborn. And Pluto sextiles my ascendant with a 0 degree orb.. perhaps I am not so plutonic but being plutonic has, I feel, been the making of me.. Maybe you might agree that those less plutonic based on their fundamental nature are left with a choice.. to go there or not.. ? To dive deep or remain unconscious?

Do you think having signs with natural rulership/a planet being in its domicile sign and the native not feeling so attached to these energies might signify that the native exists in a reality that has stolen/hidden their innate power from them somehow? I’m intrigued by people who don’t identify with strong forces in their chart, particularly sun and Pluto.. could it be a case of discovering them through alternative avenues? I understand not everybody is Plutonic, but if Pluto represents the soul/power.. is there not scope for everybody to become very Plutonic over time if the potential is there in the chart?

Maybe I should be clear about how I am using the word “Plutonic”. I use it to mean a chart has a heavy Pluto-8th House-Scorpio energy. After all, everyone has a Pluto and an 8th house ruler and Scorpio in or on a house cusp. Plutonic means the theme is STRONG .

I've never heard of Mercury as ruler of Aquarius. Mercury is ruler of Virgo in earth and Gemini in air.

@@cosmicartsastrologicalserv242 I have from a couple of established modern astrologers. I first learned Virgo ♍️ and listening to them, Aquarius makes a lot of sense. I’m looking for resources that analyze both signs for this placement and explains why ♍️ trumps ♒️ for this placement. I understand why Mercury fairs better in Virgo ♍️ than ♊️ and have never heard anything different. However, for exhalation, there seems to be two camps Traditional vs Modern which comes as no surprise as Virgo and Aquarius represent them respectively. Like I said, I’ve heard the modern take on it but have yet to hear the traditionalist position.

Perhaps the modern astrologers are making a connection between mercury and Uranus. As you probably know, Uranus is the higher or pure octave of Aquarius? If that is the case it would only work in post-Uranus-discovery astrology era. I personally don’t see Mercury as the ruler of Aquarius. It doesn’t fit in my view.

I’m not convinced either way yet. But asteroids don’t have rulers, and since Chiron is a planetoid, it may be that he doesn’t have a ruler either. The reason I’m skeptical to begin with is that people have been chomping at the bit for a new ruler for Virgo for quite some time.

Such a gifted, nuanced yet crystal clear, integrated analysis. 10H SCO Neptune, Sun and Moon at MH here. And yes, as Jonathan _73 below said, people can gossip. I find it hinges on the particular environment and maturity of the players. The reflection back can be distorted to the point of mindboggling, which makes you get very clear about what you know to be true about yourself, in yourself, and anchor there. The arts help.

I got shivers near the end of your story, for a confluence of reasons, I won't itemize to the ether, but they relate to an understanding I had in my 30s about the value of being mortal: Death frames and focuses the art of being alive (and finite). You mentioned the reverence in Greece for Scorpio; I lived in Greece, and found my soul, my people there. And yes, sexuality without eroticism for us holds scant appeal. I don't have my Venus here, it is in Sag., but I have a SCO stellium with Moon at MH. You are a special person, and a very skilled story teller. Thank you.

You're the best! Will see if I can afford you at the right time. I am trying to get a fuller appreciation of Gemini, which can annoy me sometimes. Of course it depends on the elemental mix of the chart. I know a Gemini Sun/Jupiter/Mars/Mercury 3rd house stellium person with NO WATER OR EARTH (apart from Chiron in Capricorn), and angles in the anaretic degree (ASC 29 Pisces not sure how many minutes).

Cool graphics material to express the points in this video. Agree, Neptune is elusive but in mundane terms and transits, has more to do with the collective consciousness, getting caught up in groupthink, understanding history and the ways its manifesting, more than personal histories. Its a generational planet, not a personal one. There is nebulousness about this planet that doesn't do well interpretively quickly. There is mistaken overlap between pisces, Neptune and the 12th house which don't have the relationship that many astrologers assume by default and in the interest of simplifying. Many significations of Jupiter were lifted and applied to Neptune but actually belong with Jupiter. And show themselves to belong with Jupiter in Jupiter transits. Not Neptune transits.

In my observation though, the expression of the outer planets is pretty subtle unless there are day sect planets (Saturn, Jupiter or the Sun) in aspect. Would be great to discuss if you are up for it. My day job is as a therapist and I am basing my contention on work with a lot of clients.

I don’t agree about the subtlety of outer planets as I have personally been ripped in two from them. But you have an interesting point about Jupiter as it was the ruler of Pisces for an Age. Jupiter was Neptune before Neptune was discovered. It moves too quickly for me to quite do the job of self-discovery I have found with Neptune.
