I can see people wanting this fight to happen.But I ask myself this all the time why would they fight when they have so much in common Look at the 2 of them side by side.They are both angry gods who stop at nothing to protect their family, Kratos would see his younger self inside ausra. No matter how the Death Battle goes, people are going to be pissed about Kratos. If Kratos wins, there are going to be people pissed that Death Battle believed the statements about his abilities that are never demonstrated in the games. If Asura wins, there will be people pissed that they _didn't_ factor in those statements. If, God forbid, they somehow tie, both camps will likely be angry since that would mean Kratos matches but doesn't surpass Asura. The important thing is to remember that those groups of people may both include God of War fans, but they are not the same, nor do they speak for anyone who _isn't_ angry.

I value feats over statements tbh. People also just conveniently ignore the mythology behind Asura's wrath but use greek and Norse myth to scale Kratos. Like saying yggdrasil is 10D bc it holds and is above all nine realms but ignore that the cycle of samsara in hinduism has 16 realms and asura scales above the guy who made it. Also kratos destroying the greek verse took help from gaia, the titans, and multiple hax while Chakravartin was going to do it casually and said he could just make a new one no problem

I'm less familiar with Asura but the hiccup I'm seeing is that both protags are so powerful you kinda have to use suspension of disbelief so that you can allow the story to happen in the first place.

I know I’ll likely be skewered for saying is but Kratos vs Asura is very similar to Goku vs Superman where Kratos/Goku need to use they abilities and techniques to try and overcome Asura/Superman’s stat advantage

the most important thing to remember about Superman is that he is Clark Kent a skilled journalist who wants to help out others in less fortunate situations and is really not that hard to understand. he is just a friendly neighborhood to humanity that's the core of Superman. I definitely agree that Asura should be the winner. I overall think Asura having undeniable and concrete evidence of all the feats he does compared to Kratos’s lore statements seems more fair to give him the win. I really hope Death Battle doesn’t lowball and nerf Asura. I hope this next Death Battle gives Asura the recognition and respect he deserves, the fact that he only has 1 game and a DLC but gets put up against Kratos should show how OP he truly is. Overall a solid and great video. This is your first time properly power scaling yet you scaled better than most other power scalers do. So excited and hyped for this next Death Battle!

Kratos vs Asura is really going to put in perspective the difference between strength and powers. Kratos in terms of strength could probably lift a whole mountain and toss it, but that means nothing if the guy you throw it at can destroy the whole thing in one punch. Asura at his base power which was in chapter one is able to contend with an entire planet that is sentient and sending out thousands of monsters, Asura barely even broke a sweat until he got blasted by the planet. I wonder how Kratos would’ve fought any of the bosses in Asura’s wrath and came out with the win especially when they can be as big as the earth or even bigger. Asura wins no doubt but I still wanna see what death battle decides to make cause they’ve consistently been biased towards whomever they favor but make really good animations and fun fights all things considered.

Why is this even a debate? Asura sneezes on Kratos and he dies. And I like Kratos much more than him. This is very much a "Coughing baby vs Hydrogen bomb" situation. I'll say though, people have such an impressive ability to cope whenever Kratos appears anywhere, It's so funny. Shit like "hE lIfTED tHe 9 rEalMs"; No he didn't, not even close. There's no such thing as a realm having "Weight" in the first place, That's absurd. Kratos lifted a big temple over, that's literally all that happened. Asura could lift the entire planet with one of his six hands, they're not even on the same universe in terms of power. If Kratos wasn't such a joke/meme in the powerscaling fanbase this wouldn't even be a debate. Wyzen could easily beat Kratos.

It's actually kinda crazy to think though that this fight is extremely debatable despite the fact that Kratos has 8 games and Asura has only 1. Asura in his one and only game appearance has enough crazy feats to match a character who has a literal franchise worth of lore behind him.

Kratos has been killed multiple times but every time he has he just literally crawls out of Hell and respawns. He did it once in the first game even without God status or immortality or Gaia helping him. I haven't played Asura's Wrath but it looks like he also just climbs out of his underworld whenever he dies and then respawns. So, how are either of these characters supposed to even stay dead. They're both BS levels of absurdly powerful and unkillable.

I know Lore Kratos is very powerful, but I have a problem imagining what Kratos will do if Asura becomes the Destructor and blows up the planet with one punch 🤔

How is this even a fight? Asura by the end of his life could destroy planets and stars without touching them and killed the god of his universe. Kratos is bery strong but is nowhere near those levels of power.

Old kratos doesn't have all the weapons from the previous games, you forgot to mention that.
