I thought it was a reference to a Mario game or something but it was something much simpler, thanks! Bowser is DEFINETLY a vastly better boss to work for, but Sage plotting revenge (millions of plans in her mind already, probably) for her papa is very (bitter?)sweet :

For a split second I thought the “currently plotting” was for the Elite Trio since they’re the only minions with questionable loyalty lmao. But yeah Orbot and Cubot handing in job applications is really funny. Bowser would probably find them annoying but sees them as handy since they’re somewhat intelligent (mostly Orbot vouching for Cubot’s usefulness) insert jokes about them being happy working under the new boss and wondering why Sage isn’t happy despite all of he wonderful work benefits they receive such as the robot equivalent to free dental care and payed oil changes every 3 months. They quickly work their way up the ranks and have a ongoing rivalry with the Elite Trio

@@HawkOfKrypton most likely sage is doing 2 things, find a way to bring back eggman and find ways to bring down bowser, the former being more important. eggman would be proud of her.

Even as an Eggman fan, I gotta say that this was really well done to the point where I'm satisfied regardless. They captured Bowser's genuine appreciation for his army so well, and Metal carrying the fight was badass. So much I could go on about. 'There is no escape' seemed like an accurate way to describe the dread of the next matchup.

This is straight up one of the best death battles ever made. The respect for both combatants was as clear as day, the analysis segments were great, the conclusion was air tight and made sense, Game Over is an s tier db track and the animation is (i don't have the words for it that's how fucking good it is). I think the only issue i might have is the sound design on some of the attacks, but that may just be me with my shit hearing not hearing all of it.

They aren't in the limelight, but they aren't dead. Sure its a joke match, but I'm eager to see how the hell they even make it work.

I love the characterization through this whole fight, right down to stuff like Eggman being genuinely horrified by what Jr. did to the Death Egg (He didn't know if Sage was still possessing it. He thought she was dead) and Bowser fighting on the frontlines alongside his minions. Something that was pointed out to me was how the two's generals defended them. Eggman needed Sage and Metal to stop Fury Bowser from crushing him, while Kamek and Jr. jumped to defend Bowser of their own volition, and judging by how he killed Super Neo Metal Sonic afterwards, he didn't even need the two to do that, but he paid back his army's loyalty by taking a bullet for them.

Bowser jumping in FRONT of the Death Egg blast to defend his troops is now one of my favorite character moments :D funny I said "hes gonna pull a Courage" here (because he was gonna deflect an attack from space) because BOTH scenes ended up being some of the hypest character-defining moments in the series!

kind of feels bad to say this about an amazing episode, but my biggest gripe with this is that eggman barely does anything in the fight and doesn't feel like he is planning anything at all. it honestly felt like it was building up for eggman himself to do something cool, but he doesn't, he doesn't even land a hit on bowser as well. edit: like the only cool thing does is nightmare eggman, which only shows up for a few seconds in the post analysis, and even then, it's just clashing with bowser.

This is my favorite death battle of this year no cap. I can't wait for your review because men are so much to talk about. I love they gave almost everybody the spotlight and I love how Metal Sonic was portrayed as a badass robot rather than a generic evil robot and I am happy Bowser Jr, Sage, Orbot and Cubot did not die with the latter were even spared by the Koopa Troops and even given a offer to work for Bowser which give it a bittersweet ending about Teamwork and Family. 10/10 😊♥️ P.S I feel you how about the reveal of the last episode of the year It Deadpool vs Pinky Pie all over again😔

To be honest for fall guys versus among us I’m actually happy it happened because I can see the among us astronaut and the fall guys beans actually fighting and wanting a crossover between both of them for so long seeing it happen on death battle makes me happy. I know you’re gonna hate me hawk

You should really get into Sonic. The franchise's characters and lore is among the best of all platformers, heck, the best of all gaming! To learn and enjoy the series as a newcomer, i recommend the channels GamesCage, TheMentok, Ace Card Gaming, Mr Needlemouse, Sonic Theory, HSquid Reviews, and Adrenaline Dubs(This last one dubs and adapts the IDW comics, which are canon to the main continuity and take place in-between Forces and Frontiers)
