YEAHHH AUTISM DRAGON!! I really, highly suggest you read the manga if you can because the anime does miss out on a lot of smaller things that happen in the background that really characterize the characters. Also! You get to see daydream hour, which is full of little doodles from Ryoko Kui, some of the stuff there is cut content as well.

(ANIME ONLY) also something that you notice in most elven cultures, is that hair is incredibly important to them; long hair represents resilience, knowledge, wisdom, etc. And from what I assume - based off your theory - is that the lower ranking ones, or ones who may have committed more crimes or crimes of a higher severity, have shorter hair as a form of punishment. Depression captain over here may have committed the most serious crimes, but has not been accused of any for a couple of years, hence his hair being more grown out than pixie cut, which may be what makes him more trusted than the other elves of the group. Which also might be why our beautiful white haired queen, is of higher rank.

Honestly Dungeon Meshi got me back into anime, I really appreciate the way women are written in this story even just the simple fact there isn’t so much overt (hetero) fanservice made me really enjoy the story. I love the way women are treated in this show as equally as competent as their male counterparts while still having faults. The fact they and all Dungeon Meshi characters are written with so much humanity and respect makes me really love the series

It didn't take long for me to realize that Laois was the most relatable characters that I've ever come across. Sure I've had many characters I've 'kinned' but Ive never been able to completely confidently say "that's me" while pointing at the screen. And my friend that recommended the show to me told me that she just couldn't detach Laois from me in her head. Which.....thanks???

Falin is the best and no there is no other correct opinion. Especially when you find out how unhinged she is about protecting those she loves. They are all such real characters!! With super deep connections and the passion to keep people safe!! Ive never seen more of a real interpretation of depth in human emotion!! And relationship dynamics!!

Loved this movie. My wife and I actually met on DeviantArt (cringe, yeah?) and it was our love of art and drawing that initially drew us together (we're about to celebrate our 13th anniversary soon). So this film really hit us in the feels because we both gave up drawing for one reason or another (such is life and work), so we could really relate to both Fujino (who initially wanted to give up art because she feels she's not good enough) and Kyomoto (who initially wanted to shut herself off from the world but always wanted to push herself to be better at drawing). The "alternate elseworld parallel" version of Kyomoto who inadvertently sent the manga strip to future/older Fujino, had shades of the Gwenyth Paltrow movie "Sliding Doors" (Fujimoto being a big film buff), but I'm glad that they didn't lean into the supernatural element very hard at all. The ending is bittersweet but more realistic.

The girl problem in Shounen is the main reason I despise the genre, and is also the main reason I love Fairy Tail. Lucy IS the main character, and while her writing has it flaws and she does get rescued all the time, the narrative is so deeply aware of this that it even says so, she's told upfront that she has to make a sacrifice to save everyone else, and she has to get up and do it. She's no where near as well written a character as Falin, but I adore her. Neither will ever beat Kagome in my heart though. Shoujo supremacy.

i dont like him. i always found him creepy how he manipulates how he finds "mess" funny and interesting the way he kills people without hesitation and finds it so "easy" the need to be liked and to have alleys that are convenient the way his team mates treat him like some messiah. Idk he seems to me like a psychopath.
