I am a VA employee. I work in a busy ER. It is scary the things I see here every day. I voted for Trump. I love the guy. But I pray that when the dust settles, they cut out the crap at the top... those who do not do a damned thing for the actual veteran, & leave those of us OUR JOBS who see, feel & touch the veteran every single day... a job that we are privileged to come here everyday to help the vets who count on us. I cannot tell you how many times we never ever EVER see our manager's managers manager. Or hell, those above them! They never show their face to the veterans. It is absolutely disgusting. Nursing shortages, staff shortages, long hours. It has to be fixed for us. We come here to do a job we LOVE. Helping the veterans who stepped up for us. All I ask is for more help to THOSE VETERANS, AND LESS HELP to those who sit in an office shoving emails around all day.

FREAKING AMAZING just how many aircraft collision reconstruction EXPERTS are on here watching and giving their EXPERT opinions on this aircraft collision! Maybe if all of you EXPERTS were out there doing the job these people are doing it could be done much faster!! What i can understand, with the information provided, is that a horrible accident occured ending the hopes and dreams of 67 people. What i am ABSOLUTELY SURE of is that there are hundreds, maybe thousands of people involved in the recovery of the victims and information are doing their level best to find all the information available to them, put it together and understand just what caused this accident. They have looked at those victims and then looked into the eyes of their loved ones and have to keep going, knowing that no matter how diligent they work it will never be enough to bring those lives that were lost back to the living. And then, they have to deal with all the EXPERTS on the internet who keep criticizing their endeavors without giving of their own EXPERTISE!! Then, there is the media..which, so help me, sound as if they couldn't get out of the rain without a step by step guide!! WHAT..is so hard to understand.. 1--Control Traffic Radar (CTR) indicates the HELICOPTER was at 200 ft. 2--Flight Box Data Recorder indicates the AIRPLANE was at 325 (+ or -) 25 ft 3--MORE information is needed to know WHY the collision occured. The Bottom line at this point is that there are 67 people dead. Most recovered..some still in the water. The people working out there need OUR SUPPORT!! They are looking at the mechanics of how this accident has damaged those victims...and if you think that is an easy thing ...go volunteer with your local rescue squad for a few days!! The NTSB WILL find the answer to the accident if at all possible and they will make recommendations to the FFA to ensure this does not happen again! WHETHER the FFA follows those recommendations is another thing altogether!! But in the meantime, all you EXPERTS out here should....well, i can't say what you should do 'cause I'd be in trouble for sure!!
