Question who was on the airline in DC and Why did no one in the air tower see the black hawk on radar then notify the pilot about a possible crash unless they alter their course. This was supposed to be a night training Op knowing this why was they're not a greater level of safety knowing the possibility of collision.

My sadness now replaced by anger. This is my neighborhood, I know it well. What legitimate reason is there for a war time military lift helicopter to be in that area (and who is paying for this lovely Potomac River tour they were on). That area is civilian airport territory. 10 miles north that helicopter has a massive Air Force Base to do it's thing over if practicing. I've witnessed for many, many years the packs of large military helicopters traveling up and down the Virginia 395 / 95 South stretch, always imagining there were carrying Generals or politicians from Andrews (Air Force Base) or the Pentagon to bases in the south. I always saying to myself - can they not take cars, trucks, hell limousines? Would be much cheaper for the tax payers. As we now know much safer for US citizens also. Now they have blood on their hands. I'm blaming military branch in charge of this helicopter and who ever commissioned it's trip this fateful day. There will be no justice. I see red when I see this.
