Pointless. It's a 5 sided screen in the pickup.You would have to have a piece of RTV the size of your middle toe to plug it! It is a non issue. Get on with your life!

I'm pretty much sold on this intake. Main reason beeing , its the ONLY intake that is really closed. So no chance of taking in hot air from under the bonnet. Almost tho, why almost? The original duct to the airbox has an opening in the back, which releaves any build up of positive pressure in the airbox. And also lets in hot air when standing still. Most likely done to relieve water when driving in the rain. Im currently running the stock airbox with a k&n filter,but my stock airbox intake has been removed and a Bar-tek mosotsport replacement had been installed. The air now goes straight into the stock airbox creating positive pressure on the airbox and turbo. The S&B air box will most likely flow a little better, but definitely filter beter over the stock panel filter. Hence my move to S&B

Wow, awesome video! You make it look like a one-hour job that anyone could pull off. 😊 I just have to ask... For a car like a Subaru, isn’t it a bit too heavy? I mean, especially for off-road driving. With the suspension already absorbing so much, doesn’t adding that kind of weight to the edge of the vehicle negatively impact the ride quality or handling in any noticeable way?

I bought the rear rotors for my GS350 Lexus and although the delivery is long (2 weeks) they work fine. When I ordered the fronts I waited a month and complained to the manufacturer only to find othat Amazon Logistics had lost them. Now I have to wait one month for the free replacement from Amazon TBA??. I only wish that R1 could ship these via UPS or FedX. You don't need to take the cat off on the car, you can drop the manifold and turbo with it making access much easier
