I’ve tried to do this on the Saturn version but I don’t think it’s possible due to a couple of minor differences (mainly the flash not lighting the tiles temporarily like it does in this video). Awesome trick for the PSX version tho!

Did this once as a kid back on the XBOX360 version. Tried doing it again on the PSP version (via emulation) and just couldn't get the Blade Dashes right. Finally did it again. Got a 0:56 for my time. I was surprised I was able to finally get it right again after all these years. Maybe I'm just getting old.

Best stats: Collect 50 hearts. Kill Richter's Dracula under 1 minute, take no hit, use all your Hearts. Kill Dracula using Cross Crash. Then, I managed to make Infinity Glitch (frozen shade) from level 1 (very hard to collect relics and an extra heart refresh without leveling up). Wolf Rise with Claymore tech very needed. Fairy money glitch needed. Skip Cerberus tech needed. Tech to kill enemies without taking experience needed. All Wolfs' relics needed. Gravity boots needed. Holy Symbol needed (infinity glitch was not activating without it). Must avoid killing ALL Frozen shades, or you will level up. I had to slow frames and try dozens of times to get the perfect RNG. Very hard. Use Ice Sword to attack Frozen shade, so the glitch can fully activate. Only after 9999 max HP and Hearts, I came to level up. All level ups were retried many times to always get best results (1pt to each stat, plus 5 pts mana), so 99 everything around level 90. After that, as I could not know the stats, I focused on mana points only. Made white rooms to level up Walk Armor to 100 (sink roles needed). Killed Medusa Heads with turbo button and acceleration to level up Muramasa to 999. Got all items etc. End results: HP max: 14,597 Mana: 520 Hearts: 1,195 And for some damned reason, I can't reset the map/bosses, which could be nice to feel the like being the Lord of the Castle, re-fight the bosses (but never saving so they don't disappear). Sad I can't reset the map... (US version) Of course I was using ePSXe.

This cannot be done on playstation... You must be able to make using special moves a single button press on PC. I've been trying to to do this forever and it's almost impossible to do the Blade Dash in opposite direction more than twice. I don't wanna hear, "you just can't do the combo fast enough" cause I can jump and do them in one direction 4-6 time before touching ground. But doing left right left or vice versa has only happened once and the third was too low to hit Dracula in the head. This cannot be done.

So with maxed def you wont flinch when got attacked?

Just a little note, you CAN use the Flame Whip and get the 85 HP bonus etc.. It's just that it is useless as it does no extra damage on anything, except in the PSX Japanese version 1.2 specifically. Then you can get 85 HP VERY easily with the Flame Whip's help.
