Had to re-tap one of the holes for the spindle mount. It would bind up when I tried to put the M5*12 bolt in it with a quarter of the threads showing. Took a 0.8 metric tap. Enjoy 😊 Thank you for the vid

Hi there. Did you ever source and/or get the prescription inserts for these goggles. I have purchased both the mask and goggles following viewing your video. Both individually are great but find them difficult and uncomfortable when worn together with my prescription glasses. Thanks for a nice and precise video.

I found some inserts that were for snorkling masks. I am actually going to test them out for these, too. I'm not sure how they will work because they were pretty uncomfortable in the snorkel mask

dude,, thanks for the vide, it could have been awesome but I give it a 6 due to the monotonous music which was competing for your voice over. Also you should have turned the machine around so we could see where you were plugging all the connectors together, Pronouciate and speak louder,,Just some good criticism. I was assembling my machine and following your video, It was very good until you got the the chain, then it sort of crashed and burn ...Keep up the good work, I appreciate your effort Phil! Thanks for the feedback. I have been looking into improving my videos lately. I bought a new camera, some better lighting. I also bought a wireless mic, but i went too cheap, and it sounded terrible. My editing has improved, and I double-check all my volume levels to hopefully make things a bit clearer and more comfortable for everyone. As for the masuteur pro. That machine is doing ok. I started doing a bunch of testing after upgrading the spindle for a palm router (definitely needed. The stock spindle is way underpowered), but then I damaged a stepper motor while moving house. I'm using my Christmas break to repair that and hopefully get some more videos of it in use.
@grandmastermicochero24 күн бұрын
@@philscraftcorner SOUNDS GREAT,, I just upgraded my spindle as well. the original one is weak as hell.. I don't know why they sell such a cheesy spinde in the first place it really hurts the image of the machine and the original bits you get ( 10 of them ) are also worthless. Keep up the work it does take time, maybe try using multiple angles at least 2 cameras, Pic in pic editing. add text when your voice over is weak. Have a great Christmas!

Great video. Fitted the same extractor last week but it just won't stop running so disconnected it and will try again this weekend. The wiring is coming from a switch fuse with other 3 cables connected to it from the loft. don't know if the the lead to the extractor is not connected properly in the switch! any thoughts?
@philscraftcornerАй бұрын
It could possibly be the humidistat setting. From what I remember, there's a small screw dial that controls it. It's possibly set too low so that even a small amount of moisture in the cold air is keeping it on

Thanks for doing the video, you've got yourself a new subscriber 😊 Have you had any experience with how slate engravings hold up to weathering? Thanks for subscribing. I really appreciate it. I have made grave decorations using the linseed and white spirits technique. As far as I know, they are still doing well after a couple of years. I really should try one out myself and see the results though.

Do you by chance have tarantulas? The reason why I ask is a popular tarantula KZbinr I also watch uses the same music you did, it threw me off at first because I thought it was one of his videos videos 😂 Great video either way, definitely something I'll be trying out
@philscraftcornerАй бұрын
I don't have tarantulas. The music is from epidemic sounds. Most channels that need royalty free music will use something similar so that KZbin doesn't get upset about the music. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching

I keep hearing the term MDF used by many folks. MDF (Medium Density Fiber) which is typical glue together "sawdust" That's compressed. All the examples I see in this and many videos is a plywood material with layers. I've never seen any true MDF less than 3/4" thick at any box stores. Am I missing something here?
@philscraftcorner2 ай бұрын
I'm not sure how it is in the US, but it's pretty widely available from 6mm to 25mm (1/4 to 1") The 3mm (1/8) is generally an online order
@Hambone5562 ай бұрын
@philscraftcorner so the material is in fact solid rather than layered like plywood?

quick question, ive changed the profiles on my Ruida controller but it doesnt seem to write over those settings. im trying to speed my engraving times as well any idea why it wont save?
@philscraftcorner2 ай бұрын
I'm really not sure why that is happening. It just works on my machine. Make sure you have the correct format in the boxes you are editing. That your machine is connected and turned on. And if that doesn't work, you can see if you can get RDworks to edit the profiles. Just make sure you create a backup of the original, in case you push anything too far and want to restore things.
