How I edit photos for slate coasters

Here's how I edit my photos for engraving onto slate coasters. I tested out ImagR too to see if that was quicker or gave better results, which do you prefer?

I do think they both look good. I am not seeing the cartoonish you mentioned in the imag-R. I do like that it has more detail. Thank you for sharing this.

The cartoonish look I was referring to is the bold lines in the detail. It's not like a photo. More a drawing

from here they both look good, it would be up to the person buyin. you sure are a better teacher than me id use the belt more...lol
