I love Hinderer Knives , first off i would never use a folder to batton on any wood specially a $400+ knive & anyone who is battoning on the regular or going out to the woods or what ever should have a fixed blade on him/her.That's just me though & i agree with both sides on this issue because both make good arguments.

I have to agree with you completely! I picked up an MK1 last year and picked up a Delta at Blade show this year. These are absolutely on another level. I really can't say enough about these knives or try his company. If you are in this price range, A2D needs to be on your radar!!

Interesting knives.....I can understand the enthusiasm! For me, using the Hinderers for size comparison was useful, as I own a number of Hinderers. That said $775 for the large A2D when I can get a Hinderer XM-24 hollow-ground slicer at $595 (albeit with G10 scale) has me thinking twice about taking the plunge. Great video and thanks for the introduction!

My Eklipse bowie i overpaid for came almost completely dull from the factory, pretty annoyed by it as all my other knives are near razor sharp, actually my Hinderer Ranch bowie is also dull.

Had mine for about 3 yrs now and it's a 20cv and I tested it and it's all good The only thing is it's a lil soft but I dropped it before and it didn't chip so I'm guessing that's why they run them a lil softer
