@@benznote2342 I don't think the ath10k drivers/firmware will support injection. At least with this chipset sadly.. I spent the whole day on it and got nowhere. I did get injection working on an Asus router, but not a nice high gain one like this. :( Also, I was able to compile the official wfb-ng apk installer with the latest snapshot release for this router, running the full wfb-ng server (routing and Wfb-cli) if you want it. Makes debugging and installing easier since you can just install the apk from the software Gui on web. (apk is the new ipkg)

@benznote2342 I mean the 4 pin cable from the wifi link to the flight controller. Is it needed, or is it just for the telemetry. If I have no flight controller, then I skip the tx rx connections of that 4 pin connector, correct?

Thanks, I made it myself with my own code surely it will be more flexible and more suitable for my personal needs, my apology I'm not meant to show how I made it because this is when I built in c0v1d and I'm not saving the code, i just share an idea which is very usefull based on our experience in the field, the parts and the logic are pretty much simple actually, i guess what can i do is just share the logic unless someone tells me how to decompile the code which already inside on the esp32 will be great so I can show how the source without having to make it again from beginning

yes you were right, i think the main issue is about the h/w (like antenna and the radio it self) so much noise which i can see with this stock radio, unfortunately the alternative of the radio are still limited too hmmm, yeah better to wait one or two years til this system grows up 🙂

What's wrong with trying new open software HD link?... The way these systems get better is when people like Benz try them out and find their weak points to which developers tweak and try again. This system could be better than occu-sync in a short amount of time when a whole community is doing the R&D. Keep trying things Benz because I'm here to watch 👍🏻.

yes of course it can, actually this is use fpv too (OpenIPC) on steamdeck but because our focus to controller so i'm not try to show it in this video i'm affraid will distrack the main point from this video, remember this steamdeck are three in one device (android linux & windows) so do it everything you like without limitation

@@providenceagent2372 this is maiden flight from this setup kzbin.info/www/bejne/ap7Cip2kmraBns0 of course that was onl;y 5km away not because of limitation but because this is expensive plane i don't want to lost it :lol in theory this setup can make range more than 20km (with standard equipment) and under 10km for the digital fpv, i guess that would be enought far for quad, but for plane that range would be joked 😁
