Underrated RC Glider

the different this one among with the other volantex family is the flight time which i can achieve with it for only 2 hours MAX
and the rest is no reason to not used this one
Fly stable efficient with medium wingspan making easy for transport
Very Light of weight vs 2m WS it can have an AUW double from it
that's i'm always wondering why it isn't popular

really low, 30km/h still not have tendencies of stall...of course depend from the AUW (mine 950gr's)

I just ordered a 2nd phoenix s 1600 can’t wait to fly it on 2s. Made the mistake of burning the other one out on 3s 😢

oh you bought PnP hmmmm....yes forgot to mentioned the Motor from PnP will too hot to handle 3s "IF" you push to hard, 2 option for you if still want to use 3s, change your flying style (calm like me) or change the prop to 8" if you want still flying this one for aerobatic

Mainly because the where the motor mounts is very thin plastic and cracks very easy..

4s 4800mAH (li-ion 21700) of course don't forget flight hours are the same with flight distance, because althought it fly long but speed are ridiculous slow :lol

@@tombobb yes! we can maintain flying for 2 amps top, without care about the speed it moving against the wind which is it will moving or not it doesn matter as long it's not get stall (2 amps are the minimum to powering the motor to not get stall) so 4800mAH with 2 amps for 2 hours sounds not too over optimistic isn't it 🙂

With FPV being popular, most pilots then to favour the Volantex Ranger (shares same wings). Most not as smart as you, overlooking the great perspective that a tail camera offers. They only think the tractor propeller will obscure their front mounted camera views.

right! i understand they consern about put pan camera on tail maybe they afraid will act like a rudder or they will have a problem with the CG, like it or not (still debated because no theory confirmed) IMO the tractor are more efficient than a pusher

eHehehe it still use stock prop since i bought this one 3 years ago, so many scartch from landing on aspalth make it unrepairanle for balanced, the solution is only replace it, will do if i have an extra budget 😁
