Actually really like your setup. It's the killer setup for the rest of us who aren't about to do fiberglass fab work and $3000 lithium banks. I have a 2001 silverado hd that I added a couple optimas to and have 4x skar and customspeakerpod 6.5 + 8 + tweeter door pods, not too much different that what you're running. But this is a lot cleaner and gives me ideas to clean up mine. Wonder where you're at now 2 years later

Appreciate it bro this a old video tho I've upgraded twice since this video lol now I'm pushing 4 avatar stu 15s on 2 md8000.1 with a 96ah headway lithium bank night and day difference from the red top batteries still have a little voltage drop but have yet to drop below 12v at full tilt so I'm happy with it

Went yesterday and checked out my friends new build he has 6 15” skar on 12 RP2000 amps! Got 4 10” and 4 8” and 4 tweeters. Got 3 320amp Altenators and 15 die hard agm dry cells! Got a bunch more stuff but that’s just the high lights I noticed! Thing is painful made my ass tap and I usually don’t tap till about 165db then I have Trouble breathing and it hurts to. For me about half what he has would be perfect it’s double over kill to me but ha to each his own!

Nice setup why dont u run some speaker cable or like remote cable from the volt meter and plug it to your amp that way it cuts off n on with the amp and u see wat voltage amp is seeing

My volt meter only has positive and negative so it will always be on no matter what I connect it to 😫

U can run a relay from your remote wire 2 the volt meter. Mines only have positive & negative also. But I run a relay 4 my amps, fans & my volt meter. That way everythin' cuts off when I turn my car off or the radio off.

Can the subs breathe wit the port that close to the hatch that box is huge and built well but I would slide the box back a little give the port room to breathe and gain DB

Its a nice system but what I don't understand is that the 18s are only a little more in price and only a few hundred more watts. So y go with 4 12s when u can get 4 18s and have alot louder bass? Unless u just want that thump and not as much of the low end? Either way badass system bro it makes me miss my zvx 18 lol just 1 had my windshield and doors flexing..even my steal bumper was goin ham haha

Very clean set up, how are those zvx taking that 16k watts? I have a buddy that says his audiopipe 2k is plenty of power for his 2 15 zvx subs and he's only got like 3 agm batteries for a total of 150 ah and swears up and down that those zvx don't need anymore power. I told him to get atleast a 5k Amp to properly run those subs but he says they don't need anymore power..

If your homie thinks and audiopipe 2k is enough for 2 subs that are rated 1500rms then hey he will never experience the full potential of his system cause my 15s love them md8k’s as long as everything is tuned right and you got a clean signal and not clipping your subs they will handle it no problem show your homie my video and tell him he’s got so much more room for play on his amp. Does he have a custom box or pre fab? Cause that makes all the difference also
