4 skar audio zvx v2 12s in my Yukon

Actually really like your setup. It's the killer setup for the rest of us who aren't about to do fiberglass fab work and $3000 lithium banks. I have a 2001 silverado hd that I added a couple optimas to and have 4x skar and customspeakerpod 6.5 + 8 + tweeter door pods, not too much different that what you're running. But this is a lot cleaner and gives me ideas to clean up mine. Wonder where you're at now 2 years later

Nice bro!!! I have a 2006 Tahoe…running a JS 320 amp and only one optima red top total. I have 4 PRV 6’s in the factory holes on a 1000 watt amp. 2 VXF 15’s only on a Taramps 3k and my voltage struggles. I feel ya on the funds issue with the lithium power lol, I’m in the same boat!

You should do the big three and add a extra battery im runny 4 power acoustik bamf 12s on a Taramp wired to 1 ohm and my voltage stays at at constant 13.8 with the stock alt

Appreciate it bro this a old video tho I've upgraded twice since this video lol now I'm pushing 4 avatar stu 15s on 2 md8000.1 with a 96ah headway lithium bank night and day difference from the red top batteries still have a little voltage drop but have yet to drop below 12v at full tilt so I'm happy with it

Connect your volt meter to your stereo ground and on switch on the back of the stereo connections

Didn’t think to do that I wired it to the pos and neg of my sub amp to monitor voltage to amp but I’m gonna try that thanks brother

Nice setup why dont u run some speaker cable or like remote cable from the volt meter and plug it to your amp that way it cuts off n on with the amp and u see wat voltage amp is seeing

My volt meter only has positive and negative so it will always be on no matter what I connect it to 😫

U can run a relay from your remote wire 2 the volt meter. Mines only have positive & negative also. But I run a relay 4 my amps, fans & my volt meter. That way everythin' cuts off when I turn my car off or the radio off.

Yeah it was good only complaint I had was my gear shifter would rest on the screen when the truck was in park

sound quality has all to do with the amps the speakers are wired to unless you run your speakers directly to the headunit and most dont give more than 20 watts rms per speaker

@86rsalazar why would u switch it out looks great to me..do u see a difference with the pioneer??im running 1 15 kicker L7 all ds18 mids and highs 6×9 6.5 and super tweeters on a skar rp 4channel 150.4 ab marine amp stock Alt but have xs xp1500 battery and ioxus smart ultracapacitor voltage stays in the 13s gonna do the big 3 .im having a box built now gonna up grade to either 2 skar vxf 15s or the zvx 15s or for a few more bucks the dB apocalypse..But dope system

Its a nice system but what I don't understand is that the 18s are only a little more in price and only a few hundred more watts. So y go with 4 12s when u can get 4 18s and have alot louder bass? Unless u just want that thump and not as much of the low end? Either way badass system bro it makes me miss my zvx 18 lol just 1 had my windshield and doors flexing..even my steal bumper was goin ham haha
