Austin Butler would make a fire Clay Marrow if their will ever be a prequel.

The 2nd time I was the series was my wife’s first time watching it. I kept saying how much I hated Gemma and she never knew why. She always liked her at first but I neeeeever liked her the whole second time watching

And yet Gemma loved Clay after knowing all of that. I was so happy Jax got rid of her.

I really think they should’ve kept what the letters were about unknown until this scene (since it’s just Gemma revealing things we already know to Jax), would’ve been a great reveal. And it also would’ve been a good twist when Gemma tells Nero later that she and Wayne were involved too.

It's interesting to see that Gemma didn't tell him the whole truth. Only part of it. I think Jax should've left when he had the chance. Maybe not form his own Biker gang or Motorcycle club. But formed a faction and encourage his fellow biker bros to join him there while Clay fails as he's invested in illegal gun running and drugs. Jax would've used the letters to turn the gang against Clay and and they all had a vote to shut down the Club and all that'd be left of it would be former SAMCRO members. The only reason they didn't is because They needed Clay alive to form the Irishmen deal and they wouldn't deal with anyone else. But other than that, Clay was just a nuisance to the rest of the club.

How did Jax not ask the obvious question.... If you knew all this why did you turn around and marry Clay?

"Clay thought it was a mistake. He was afraid that John would destroy the Club." That right there is her manipulation, trying to make it sound like it was Clay who was trying to protect the Club's interest in the guys when in reality it was her trying to protect her status as a Queen.

This was probably the most intense scene in the entire series. The chemistry between Charlie and Katey was phenomenal, this was the moment 💩 hits the fan

"Hey Mom, if he's so horrible why have you have stayed with him for all this time and why are you only telling me now?" I know there's a large degree of bias at play since Jax loves his mother tremendously but it's still a BIG logic hole.

The problem I always had is if any of the shit she spewed out of her mouth was actual truth. I never believed any of it.

Gemma was definitely the most manipulative, callous and cunning character on the whole show, almost as bad as Clay was! Her only redeeming quality, was the love she had for her children and grandchildren but that still didn't stop her from poisoning all of their lives and therefore ruining them. It always did bug me that Jax never got the full truth about her part in ALL of it but at the same time he got to know enough and he didn't need any more pain, especially after having to kill her. But oh man Gemma and Clay were the destruction of everyone's lives, the club and absolutely everything on the show! Kurt Sutter is such an excellent character writer and the way he portrayed those two, *chef's kiss*

I also wish that Tara would've gave the letters to Jax right away cause what right did she have to keep that from him she read them and knew exactly what she was reading meant but she gave them to Gemma she believed all the"it's bad for the club" bullshit when it was just really bad for her and clay

I hated the fact that Gemma got away with this she burned the pages where John teller says that she and clay were gonna kill him. She pinned it all on clay just because she knew Jax would kill clay and exile her I hated Gemma she was so manipulative and she had to control everything

The absolute hypocrisy of her saying she “knows how dangerous secrets can be” Such a well written character and acted that makes you hate her so much

Jax is sitting there, listening to her spin this bs that leaves her “innocent”…and doesn’t stop to think to himself, “Wait, you were still cheating on my dad, whom your soon-to-be-ex-husband tried to kill twice, and YOU STILL MARRIED HIM?!??!!?? Wtf, Ma?!???” Like, hello - plot hole.

Gemma tore down samcro and Clay. Jax finished it off the last 2 seasons with the decisions he made out of emotional revenge. By time the end of SOA samcro was shredded apart by lies. Clay died, juice died, Gemma died, Jax died, Bobby died. I mean the core of the club was shredded

All that and she married Clay?!?...Nah, there's more to that story!

Is it just me or did Gemma only start spilling the Beans about Clay after he beat her up. Like why tell Jax this NOW?? I think She and Clay both set JT up to be killed. Like if you knew Clay supposedly did all this why did you turn around and marry him🤔

Looking back at the whole series and this scene in particular I always wondered a few things. 1. How did Clay manage to not only kill the founder of the club, but take the gavel when there were rumors circulating about him killing John? Clay took the presidency with no pushback whatsoever?? 2. On top of that he took his wife. Jax never suspected his mom having anything to do with it as soon as she told him Clay killed him? 3. No way Clay and Gemma did all of it alone, there had to be other club members that backed Clay especially if he was able to become president, they had to be in on it with him, no way in hell he and Gemma conspired, did it, and got off Scott free with rumors circulating. 4. I kinda wonder if Tig was the one driving the semi that ran John over. It would explain the fierce loyalty he had for Clay and most likely how he earned the Sgt flash. I hope we get a prequel to shed some light on how everything went down.

All this and yet you laid down with that man every night and let help raise your son, horrible woman, when push came to shove her only loyalty was to herself

So Genma is trying to crack on that she married the guy that she knew murdered her husband? Either she don't know (which we know she did), he had something on her or she was in on it (which we know she was). Sorry but Jax is so naive at this moment.

After hearing everything that Clay had done none of that mattered to Jax. I guarantee you the one thing that really set him off, the one thing that pushed Jax over the edge was Clay trying to kill Tara. If Clay hadnt of gone for that hit on Tara i honestly believe Jax wouldn't have wanted Clay dead and wouldve looked past everything else. Tara was the trigger.
