Hi N. Great, convinced me. I go for the Core, (size). Nobody knows: Can i show Rig Name in bigger letters, for the unit is on the floor. I like to try , but unit is not available next 3-4 month in Germany

The size of the fon't can't be adjusted. I try to keep the names short and put them in a setlist so they are easy to read.

Hi N. , I wonder if i can take my Patches, save them on a harddrive and change to the smaller Core?
@DoctorMcFarlandStudios4 күн бұрын
Yes you can. Rigs from the older units are upwards compatible but rigs from new units are not downwards compatible due to the number of blocks in the rig.

I just got the prime since the price is now $999. It’s huge but I play mostly at home, and I love all the extra footswitches. Bought the Tone Junkie everything pack and it sounds badass. Do you happen to sell Headrush presets as well? The core at $699 right now is a steal for what you get!

I’m now up to 4 SB59’s (different colors and pickups), an SB59/v, an SB55/v, and a T484. I love my Gibsons, but lately I’ve been preferring Eastman. They are exceptional instruments.

Is it better to run my pedalboard into the input or use the effects return? I use a delay, chorus, phase 90, tube screamer and sonic stomp. I just got the TB 202 and haven’t gigged it live yet.

Hello, I just bought 3 FR10. TWO from woodbrass france and one from THOMANN a few days ago. It has the hiss noise. Not too strong, but i hear it well in a quiet room. Even 3 meters away, i can hear it. I've sent back the two amps from woodbrass. I thinking about with the one from thomann. I think it's tolerable, but it's boring thinking some people have one dead silent. It's wierd.

I use the same type interface to record tracks into my DAW. My question for anyone out there is, can the focusrite 18i8 3rd Gen interface be used as a reamp without having to purchase a reamp box. thanks Great tutorial. Keep em coming.

yes. use one of the outputs to send out your signal then capture the amp with a mic input.

Just got a goldburst SB59/v yesterday and it’s absolutely amazing! I have several of the glossy SB59’s, but this is on a whole other level. The finish feels great and it looks really cool. Plays like a dream and the Lollar pickups sound incredible. It felt like a guitar I’ve owned and played for years the moment I picked it up. It might just be tied with my P90 LP gold top for my favorite of all my guitars.

Hi, if you were busking in a busy street with guitar and vocals do you think the bp40d would have enough volume or would you suggest the bp80?? Many thanks
@DoctorMcFarlandStudios8 күн бұрын
You can never go wrong with more headroom. I have not compared the BP80
@steved10999 күн бұрын
I have the gold top and i can tell you that once setup right, some good strings not the cheap factory ones, and with some locking tuners it is a great guitar... you have to live with them for a while. Rock solid tuning, trem works well, BUT the dual volumes, the split coils and treble bleed are really useable and allow a massive range of tones. All about personal prefence and it fits me really well. David grissom gigs his core and SE professionally - so should be reasonable.

How do you reset to factory settings? in other word erase everything that was preprogrammed and start fresh with nothing on it?
@DoctorMcFarlandStudios9 күн бұрын
To factory reset a Headrush Pedalboard, turn off the unit, then hold down the last two footswitches on the board while powering it back on; keep holding until you see a "Reverting" message on the screen, which indicates the factory reset is in progress.

Very helpful, thanks a lot! About EQ, would it be nice to know how to dial in a basic sound with the amp, so low, mid and treeble settings for a metal chuggy rhythm and then for a lead/solo. Then adding the EQ Tricks you show to modifiy the basic EQ of the amp. Cheers

maybe just a little but either speaker has plenty of output.
@victorloquendoful17 күн бұрын
For me there is a problem here, because the Gibson has that classic tone in the mids that you probably expect from a Les Paul, the Eastman sounds very good but has some characteristics in the sound that are not so great, such as the very scooped mid-bass and the nice treble but not as pleasant as the gibson, on the other hand I don't doubt that the eastman is much better built, but the only reason I see for having a high-end les paul is the classic sound, because if you don't have it, perhaps a cheaper Les Paul like a Sire or Harley Benton is preferable, my humble opinion.
@DoctorMcFarlandStudios17 күн бұрын
Yeah I can see that. Some Eastman models come with Lollar pickups which to some is highly desirable. If you had a Les Paul you didn't like the sound of then you would change the pickups more than likely. Same can happen with a Eastman as long as you like how it looks and feels.

I use an Alto TX210 I've had for years with my MX5, MG30, and now Flex Prime and it's plenty loud with decent frequency response. Just a home player so would I gain anything by going to FRFR 108? Seems like a lot of wattage I really don't need.

I didn’t quite believe the hype about Eastman…until I got one. Now I have 6! While I still love my Gibsons, I might have to admit I like playing my Eastmans a bit more. They are amazing guitars. I have 4 SB59’s (just the truetone gloss models), one of which I swapped the Seymour Duncan 59’s for Mojotone low wind 59 Clones and another one with a set of Tonerider Rebel 90’s. They both sound great. I am going to put a set of Tonerider Alnico IV Classics or Bare Knuckle Old Guard in another, haven’t decided yet. I have a T484 that I’m leaving stock for now. And just this week I got an SB55/v with a Lollar P90 and it might just become my 2nd favorite guitar, just behind my gold top LP.

I'll be honest... I wasn't a fan of the MK2 108. I ordered one through Zzounds, thought something was wrong with it cause it was so much different than the MK1. RMA'd the first for a second which was the same. I didn't find them to be very loud, clipped very early. On the first one the mix out didn't work. I would not have been able to gig with it anyways so I ended up sending the second one back. The HPF is a nice addition, would like some EQ on the back though in addition to the HPF.

Cool vid, thanks. I’m debating getting one of these. I’m thinking 108
@JurBols47719 күн бұрын
Hi Dr, thanks for the short review! The high pass filters is a welcome upgrade since I find the Headrush 108-1 very bass happy. There is a SLR-out on the old speakers - I never tried wether it is effected by the volume knob but I don't think so. The bluetooth connection is something I really miss on the old version. That said, I think I rather extend to a lighter speaker set and keep the old FR108-s for louder occasions - they are loud. As the Headrush speakers are relatively inexpensive - I did buy a second one to play stereo. I would not want to come back from that.
