Are Headrush Reverbs Any Good???

The reverbs in the Headrush do sound really good but do they provide everything a player would want? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

I released that video a few weeks ago. You can use 2 headrush amp blocks, 1 Revalver amp block and a few Clone blocks.

@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios Thanks , There are very few videos on KZbin that go into detail about the drop tune, especially the clean tone in the drop tune, including ambient, and I don't know of any videos with flex prime. If you can, could you also include the chorus, tremolo, and other modulations?

@@DoctorMcFarlandStudios And if possible, I'd like to know how much capture can be used in a typical pedalboard configuration, for example in flex prime with noise gate, comp, drive pedal or capture drive pedal , capture amp , ir , mod , delay , reverb I'm curious about this configuration because I usually use noise gate and comp quite a bit, and modulation and delay reverb almost by default, so I'd like to know in detail how many capture can be used in the above configuration.

I agree with your comment. All of these reverbs come across very piercing on the top end. That always gave me the first impression the reverbs in the head rush are not very good. Most of the time I spend in my manipulation of the parameters is around figuring out how to lower the top end and make it warmer. Maybe if headrush sets all its presets to present a warmer reverb to the users they will have more acceptance.

Great video and I completely agree with that the biggest problem is any of the ambient type verbs are way to in your face. Headrush seems to do this with a lot of there fx, I’m hoping you do a video on drives for these units because I can’t seem to get a good overdrive to distortion sound without this almost digital fuzz behind the note. Thanks for the work you’re doing cause it seems like you’re the only one investing time into headrush.

You should check out my older videos. I go over those amps extensively. No harm in making new ones though. I can do that for my livestream this month.

You may find that the reverbs breathe a lot more on the Core/Prime than on the Flex. There’s more high end “air” in the larger units. This is due to the difference in components. I’ve already confirmed this with Headrush directly as well. Test reverbs using the Core and you’ll get a little bit of a different experience!

That may be true but doubt it will be a night and day difference. I have both the Core and Flex and to my ears both units sound the same.
