I think you need to have the 3rd and fourth bricks matching the first 2 you put down, leaving a gap both ends, you would have a much better air flow, but I really like the design well done guys!

Super cool. Hope to build one similar to this! Good take on the self feeding rocket stove-there are not many out there.

Hi Kid, you are the most entertaining U tuber I've EVER seen!! You are a natural! Never mind the stove misbehaved.

If you raid a salvage yard for a gas stove cast iron burner grate you don't have to bother with the nuts and "weld." Gives good clearance for pans, and is very stable. Nice design.

Looks to me, as soon as the sticks fed down the chimney went out, the whole thing started to die. Design fail, sorry

Well done production! That is how Ron Howard got his start, filming his dad mowing their yard to learn how to capture the event with film.

Start the fire in the chimney side first to warm up the chimney and increase the draft

I so appreciated your video. Its a challenge to find videos of ppl cooking w/cast iron on a rocket stove. I just blt one in my back area for cooking legumes & pulses to save power b/c they take hrs to soften. Anyway loved this video - my rocket stove is different but I like the dbl chimney - the base is secure. mine is just a single chimney. Happy cookin' & sharing. So helpful... thx a bunch.

Excellent design, excellent video, nice interaction! I noticed THE FIRST TWO ROWS COULD BE MADE AT ONCE AS A RECTANGLE, so you wouldn't need to break any brick in half. I plan to try one of these very soon!

"CHASING COCO" would be a better title for the video. About the rocket stove, would be better if you put a grill to rest the wood, so that way you get a better ventilation and ashes don't get in the way, take one brick off of the bottom inlet for a better air flow.

@Dan Morena: 😒....I hate to say it....but agreed, unfortunately. Props to the dad though.....maybe? For spending time with his son? Maybe no props though for letting him continue to grow up to be "that guy". @ everyone who disagrees with me/us: I don't care what your opinion is about me or your projections about my relationship with MY dad (because I KNOW at least one of you are thinking of saying something along those lines). Your projections are irrelevant against reality.
