....i didnt know it was legal for canines to decide against going outside. Like....thats all they do. Our little dumbo can run 5 miles in a day, come in for 10 minutes......but font forget something in your car. She'll be BACK up thinking we're about to go have an adventure again.

The same for Kangals. Currently we have 12 working Kangals on our farm. It is all about trust, respect, and influence. If ones tries to use force that person risks getting into a physical battle that they will loose as these dogs are very powerful and athletic. I now comes down to will they decide to not let you get away with that challenge to their position in the pack.

@@jonwatson5587 yes these are coming from NGOs and USFW. Funds for compensation should be moved from rancher compensation towards reintroduction efforts. That was a million dollar wolf the POS rancher shot

Geez I remember about 12 years ago when I was visiting Breckinridge. I commented to a local asking if they had wolves. They told me not in many, many years and I was sad thinking they should be in the mountains. I was happy to hear they had introduced a pack out there. I do hope the person who did this gets caught. I personally think out of all Wolfy looking dog breeds the German shepherd looks and acts the most like a wolf. I think if they weren’t brown people would realize how many people overlook the German shepherd. I got to meet a pure grey wolf pup and I then interacted with younger German shepherds, I was amazed at how similar they are. Especially much more than huskies. For me

Many people approach "owning" an animal like they´re cosplaying an 18th century plantation owner. I wouldn´t trust them with a cactus. lol I´ve volunteered at shelters before, so I had the pleasure to work with "dangerous" dogs, including some wolf dogs with unknown contents. (Usually illegal imports from Eastern Europe.) If the shelter had a proper enclosure and you treated the animals with respect, they were manageable, but far from being a classic pet. The most dangerous were the ones that had mental issues or were heavily traumatized by the previous owner.
