Just impulse bought an OLED to surprise my adult daughter mostly because she will be HIGHLY interested in the online play of games of the all the old NES hardware systems like she used to. No internet in home (out in countryside) so will have to use “unlimited” hotspot on her iPhone or iPad for online access. Will this work or may it be doomed to fail due to bandwidth or other possible chokeholds?

You go into the KZbin app (or even Netflix) and all you have to choose from is “recommended”. There’s no search bar. Am I the idiot?

Hopefully you still see these comments. I now know what my parents must of felt like buying me my Atari and original NES when I was a kid. I just bought the switch OLED with some games. I am just confused on the Joy-Con controllers vs Pro Controllers. If I want to play with 4 people, should I purchase 4 sets of Joy-con controllers or 4 pro controllers? Don't you need joy-con controllers for certain games (Kind of like the Wii was). So will I then need the Joy-Con holders for regular game use? Also, if you have 2 switches, with one household account and multiple users, can you play against the other switch with one game or will you need 2 games in order to do that? For example, I will buy the switch 2 when it comes out. If I give my daughter the OLED and I take the switch 2, can we play Mario Cart against each other with only have purchased one game? and can you play with multiple people on a single switch device with multiple controllers without using the TV? I got gifted a switch vanilla from a friend who'd bought it and decided she wasn't into it, and while she packed up all the hardware, she didn't have the manual, so I wasn't really sure what to do after I got the thing charged. This must be a silly question... can it be used without controllers? As in, just a touch screen device. My toddler enjoys playing games on my phone. I've tried having him use the Xbox 360 but the use of joysticks and buttons is a bit more challenging for his age. My knowledge of switch is very limited.
