@@youjustboughta Man here in India no matter what brand or what size of TV you pick. You need to wait for the service rep. from that brand to visit and install it or even unbox it. If we unbox it or install it on our own 95% time Warranty is void. So yeah we don't install TVs on our own even-though we are capable of.

Good stuff. I bought an LG qned85 65" mini-led last year and I have been very pleased. And it's not even considered(by reviewers) the top model of mini-leds. I like Sony too tho. I have an older x930e at my beach condo and it's a fantastic tv.

I own the Sony x85j 43" and I set the motionflow and the clearness to max to get the smoothest motion. I would anybody switch the motionflow and the clearness off, I tried them in off position and I got extreme judder.

How amazing are the black levels of this tv in terms of dark scenes and shadow details? This would determine if I buy this tv or not.

I have just bought the sony x85K and found it wouldnt connect properly to my Toshiba sound bar. I would just have everyone know that sound bars dont always connect to any TV and apparently sony is way more particular with what it will connect to

Great video, thank you for the information. I am having a hard time deciding between the Sony X80K and X85K. I will mainly use my new TV to watch streaming services and play casual games on my PS5 console. I lean towards the X85K because it is a 120hz panel and plan to mainly watch content directly in front of the TV. My concern is the X80K IPS panel vs X85K VA panel -- I've heard the X85K's VA panel has very narrow viewing angles. Can you please comment if the picture significantly degrades from even viewing content at a slight angle (from the side)? I've only owned IPS displays in the past so I have concerns about VA panels. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

@bassmasternick We would suggest going with the X85K. Yes, the viewing angles aren't going to be quite as wide as the X80K, but unless you're going to be sitting off angle more times than not we think it's far more valuable to have the better overall picture quality and HDMI 2.1 features (4K/120Hz, VRR), especially since you'll be using a PS5 on it. We didn't find the narrower viewing angles to be distracting.

i have the 990b sb just curious with the bravia's when you press the 123 it will show you the video source ie dv or hdr10 but it doesnt show the audio source atmos etc i know the 990b shows atmos on the bar but that doesnt tell me if im getting atmos in dd+ or true HD using fire tv cube 3rd gen. is there any way on the bravia to display the audio source?

@kidpoker9408 We haven't found a way to get that information to display on the screen of the TV. The TV can output both ways though. Have you tried looking in the audio settings on the Fire TV Cube to see if there is an option to see it there? We don't carry the Fire Cube so we don't have one to test out here at the store.

@SilentButcher The X85K is an LED backlit TV. The Sony OLEDs will have an A in the model number, like the A80K, A90K, and A95K series.

TV size recommendations are just dumb. We use a 48” and are at least 10’ away and the size is perfect. Any larger would be too much.

The xk85 43 inch is the same price as an oled. The sound quality is poor, you shouldn't have to buy a soundbar . and you can't change the aspect ratio, quite poor for £800 . A 43 inch is fine for a small living room even over 6 feet the feet ratio has changed over the years . Just marketing nonsense to try and get you to buy a bigger TV.

A TCL 6 series or Hiense U8H at 55 inches is about the same price. However, if you absolutely need the small TV side, it's probably the best out there.

@@valueofnothing2487 I've had a hisense TV. I wasn't impressed with the colour saturation, auto dimming, brightness and it had banding issues. I'm sure tlc would have it's issues aswell. 43 inch is big enough for my small living room. There's no smooth gradation or full array on x85k but the contrast is very good

I.ve bought 2 Bravias-- Love Em. HOWEVER the Lack Of a User Manual With Today's TV's IS CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE. Even On-Line the Documented Descriptions are Either "Incomplete", "Convoluted" , and Lack Basic Human Factors Engineering level Descriptions. Sony "Praises" their New "Remote Controls" BUT they are Liars. They took what was once Readily Available Functions and put them in Firmware In The Remote..... Causing Multiple Operations for previous "One Step". THEY LIED - Did it to Save $$$,... Firmware is cheaper than Hardware.
