Birds look fab and great set up to. Can I just ask u question is the London fancy still about I only seen picture before on utube just I taught they looked nice

@@user-jr7fx2ob1g yes, they have revived them. They are getting popular once again hopefully the membership numbers will increase. I have seen them at Stafford bird show in October. The entries are getting higher and higher. They are a lovely bird. I am glad they didn’t become extinct.

No, the pearl is a new mutation. Just been developed in Europe over the last 5/6 year. I am maybe me and one other have pearls in the UK which are developing them even further.

Some pick that egg eating up when you put them all in flight cages & some hens pop eggs out still before moult. I had one out of 12 pairs. Lucky for me, I found the hen that was laying still and got her out. Only a couple of eggs eaten last season. A must of sold the young that was egg eaters 😅😅 But had one here. You've not done bad mate you've something there. I've about 30 young at min. But conditioned them early and tried getting some young before that warm weather comes. But I've had lighting in the room.

Have you tried feeding more hard boiled egg every day, satisfies egg hunger. Give a pan of water every day to all canaries, brings joy and happiness and they are more willing to care for babies is my philosophy
