Have you tried feeding more hard boiled egg every day, satisfies egg hunger. Give a pan of water every day to all canaries, brings joy and happiness and they are more willing to care for babies is my philosophy

Great video, like always. Abit upsetting on the birds. I'm breeding Timbrados, mate. And I've 12 pairs that have all gone down. I've a timber shed, too, with a cladding roof. But I've lights on dimmers. All the birds have 4s & 5s chicks. Some are a week old some are just over a week & half. Hope you see some numbers soon, mate. Where I am in Yorkshire. The wild birds are going okay. Seen a few goldfinches in the back garden building in the conifers. Plus the skylarks are here so that's a good sign.

I think alot is due to air preasure and werr the gulf stream is coming from,this would explain why the swallows swifts and house martins have not arrived.i only start from 3rd week in april as im ready for a break by the end of the season.goid luck for the rest of the season george 👍

Have to agree with you on no Swallows. Birds are doing crap this breeding season but there's always 2025 hopefully
