This is a phenomenal film, very educative. This topic is not one that is easily discussed or diagnosed. I am blown by Sonia's superb performance in telling this story, making it so real..and comical at times. Wow. Trauma really causes many illnesses. Therapy is a must in order to maintain a sound mind after such. This movie needs to be watched. I pray those that are experiencing similar issues will find the solution here and go and get help. The storyline touches on some educational concepts, in this case hypersexuality being caused by the trauma of rape; which when expanded upon supports the idea of other detrimental compulsive behaviours (addictions) arising as a result of other traumas. The storyline declines with the questionable depiction of the remedial methods, which are unrealistic and concerning since the doctor does not seem to specialise in psychology, and the idea that the woman could have healed completely seems very improbable. I think better research into the actual treatment methods used by patients with the protagonists condition would fix the weakened plot, hence improving the quality of the film overall. All this said, Sonia Uche is a good actress, and she did well playing this character. May God continue to bless her efforts✝️🙏🏾.
