Wow my 1st time of watching John Ekanem. You and Sonia Uche nailed it. Love can be found where you least expect it. It started tough and rough. Thank God she did not listen to anyone. He really made me crack my ribs in laughter with his talk and dancing. I loved where he was washing the car and splashing water to his his wife's friend and she ran away. I didn't want the movie to stop. Let see part2 please.When they went to the village to pay bride price and get married. Sonia's mum and friend was very supportive. I cried when he was telling about his story and crying. Lessons: do not judge a book by it's cover, read it 1st. Get to know people well before you start judging their actions. Amazing movie. John is a handsome man haba. Money is good and clothes changes person.More acting from John please.

All hands-on deck bringing their A- Game. All my favorite people were here. The Casting Directors were on point in choosing the right actors for the roles to be played in this film. My guy John Ekanem, I've never seemed him play this character (sparkle) I am checking out his make-up didn't have a clue, the language he was speaking, I followed the transcript and had a ball watching John kill it and left it on the floor. that's my guy with his mannish self. When he transitioned into the suite set it on fire, no direction needed. and whoever was responsible for his sleepwear out of the pink family, killed it. The old saying Don't judge a book by its cover. Patricia founded out it wasn't in the cover, it was in the inside, opening him up she found all types of jewels. The movie had great entertainment. Wow! This movie is so refreshing. Very funny, and enlightening. But on a more serious note, how did Patricia get the audacity to pay a groom's price? She even had the guts to ask her mum to do that for her. Our generation is sick. Good lessons in a very nice movie. Less is sometimes more bc it leaves something to the imagination and it heightens the viewers senses. The intimacy and healthy tension w/o overt physical contact was on another level. "Groom Price" was a distinct, funny, tastefully done project with layers to peel back and learn from. Some major points that were stressed is what you see is not always what you get. Telling our personal stories like Sparco told Pat can be powerful because our narratives allow us to share details material to our lives in a way that creates an emotional connection and bond that offers enlightenment about ourselves. The way someone speaks is not always or necessarily indicative of their intelligence . I firmly believe as people of color we know this best and first hand.
