Just bought a 1974 18’ Lund Big Resorter. Repowered with all the goodies and absolutely loving my “new” 50 yr old classic that pre-dates me by four years! A fine example of simplicity and function over form!

Why are you still riveting boats ? when most aluminum boats are now welded.. no rivets to loosen and leak after warranty is up

I have a 2023 Lund 1875 but live in TX. The biggest issue I have is no one repairs riveted boats. You have to send the boat back to Lund to get it fixed.

Rivets? why not a spot weld? unless one builds a carbon fiber shell that's riveted and bonded together and then the rivets are covered or a shell is placed within a shell.

Glad my Quebec built 18ft x 8 ft beam .100” aluminum hull and freeboard is fully welded. Fewer seams and not one rivet. Smooth as a strippers bottom. No plywood, Coosa board. No carpet to rot. Yamaha Powered. A Lund looks pretty alright, my first house cost less. Great video and presentation.

I have a 2017 1625 Rebel and love it. I fish alone so it's a perfect size for me. Lund was offering a discount that was matched by the dealer, I also qualified for a military discount making the boat very affordable. I am retired now with a goal of wearing my boat out before I wear out.

My father in law is a two time Lund owner. His 97 had a new transom replaced at Lund and 5 years later it was failed again. Lund led him on for 3 years and in the end said "not our problem" poor customer service😢

Bought my first LUND a RebelXL 2023. To my surprise none of the compartments are waterproof 😮 what a cheap way to manufacture a pricy boat. Cant be very difficult or expensive to make them waterproof. A friend has the similar model from 15 yrs ago and the compartment are waterproof. I live on a lake and the boat is tied at a dock all summer. I spend too much time taking life jackets, fishing gear out after every rainfall. For sure i will never praise Lund or buy again

I've been a proud owner of a 1997 1750 fisherman with a color matched engine since day one, my boys grew up in that boat and nearly have kids of their own. This boat STILL does not leak a drop of water and believe me it has gone through hell, the paint on the boat is testament to that. It has carried thousands of walleye and very few pike, the pike always seem to find a ride in a Prince Craft of one style or another. Thankyou Lund.

I worked at Crestliner from 1998-1999, right out of high school. I took a look around and saw all these older men slapping together boats, eating ham sandwiches on the line, and looking pretty miserable. One cold, Minnesota Saturday, I went to the Marine Corps recruiter, signed my papers, and one day, this Staff Sergeant, full uniform, walked right to my work area and told me “Let’s go.” I put down my tools and walked out. As I was walking out, most everyone in the bays stopped working and started clapping. It was a hell of an experience that I’ll never forget. I thank God that I joined the Marines because the plant that I worked at in Little Falls, MN closed sometime ago. I’m not saying that Crestliners are bad boats or it wasn’t a bad place to earn a paycheck. I’m just glad that I didn’t get stuck there. Oh, and would never buy a Crestliner boat from the time that I worked there because as a rookie, I messed up a lot and the lead had to fix everything behind me.
